Pikmin 2 Extinction Challenge | Can You Beat Pikmin 2 With Zero Treasures?

- In this video we see if it is possible to repay the 10,000 poko debt without collecting a single treasure while extinction our pikmin population after each day for narrative purposes/curiosity.
Since we did not collect any treasures and really only completed half the game I was thinking of doing another extinction challenge for Pikmin 2 where we see if we collect all the treasures. I just had to split it up or the video would be too long and convoluted.

The plotline for Pikmin 3 should be that Alph, Brittany, and Charlie are too afraid that the Pikmin will eat their food so they have to kill them

I was thinking of something like this before. A "1%" run of Pikmin 2 where you collect no treasures at all & only kill & collect one type of creature from the first cave over & over until you clear the debt.
Well this is possible since there is no time limit but I doubt it can be fun to watch, there is a glitch that allow to skip the first day too

When I was a child of about 5 or 6 years playing this game i was so terrified of losing Pikmin that I didn’t like fighting new enemies. I would do only the safe caves that I knew from previous playtime like the hole of beasts and citadel of spiders. I would go down into the hole of beasts again and again and pay off the debt mostly from carcasses. Pretty sure I got to day 300 or so before I got every treasure, this was across many years as well I think.

"Wilson" as a name is a reference to the movie "Cast Away" which was the name a castaway stuck on an island gave to a volleyball that he started talking to as he spiraled into insanity.

Beating pikmin without using pikmin in fights? I mean if your good at the game it would be easy, but fisting down spotty bulbears seems pretty difficult.

I've actually done my own challenge on pikmin 2 (No spray challenge) and I've actually completed it
It wasn't easy
That one fiery bulborb in the snow area was difficult without the bitter spray

Anyways, I use adobe premiere pro for almost everything. I use Adobe after effects to make some character animations/ green screens. And for the journal entries I use a program called VideoScribe

Would you have been able to carry a overworld treasure nearly all the way to the ship, then throwing your last pikmin into the water with one captain while pushing the treasure into the ship beam with the other captain so you complete the 10k while your last pikmin perish? Guess you'll have to do it all over again to find out

I'm trying a challenge similar to this one but instead of pikmin extinction I can only take out one pikmin from onions/the ship each day. One bonus rule is that I can trade pikmin types so that some areas aren't impossible to get past. The objective is rescuing Louie after repaying the debt rather than just stopping there.
Also I can only take a maximum of 50 pikmin into each cave so that caves aren't too easy
