Cops always set the meta, not the other way around. They engage every interaction with crims/gangs/groups in reaction to the previous interactions with other crims/gangs/groups instead of engaging them as their own separate incident. So crim/gang/group 1 uses bikes to escape, the next time the cops deal with another crim/gang/group they respond to it as if to counter the previous escape... which in turns makes crim/gang/group 2 have to respond now even more drastically to counter the counter. This quickly snowballs into cops going to extremes to catch crims, and crims going to extremes to escape cops.
Cops are running with interceptors for everything when there are only a handful of cars that crims can even lockpick. If a cop shows up with an interceptor, it instantly changes the dynamic. Bikes are a direct response to that dynamic shift. If you give crims no chance to outrun the cops in a direct chase, they will use the advantage of maneuverability and tight gaps to balance the playfield. Instead of complaining about and trying to get rid of bikes, they should consider holding off on interceptors until they are actually needed, and bringing the dynamic back to normal chases.
TL;DR: Cops should first think about why crims are using bikes to escape, instead of jumping directly to whining about crims using bikes to escape. Not one mention in the video about cops bringing interceptors to every call, and crims only being able to lockpick a handful of shit cars that the basic CVPI is already vastly superior to.
Honestly just a skill issue. The PD always gets crazy cars, interceptor that turns at 180mph like its going 30mph then they get sports cars that are literally the best cars in the city. Then they get air1 and they cry about bikes. They even have broken tazers that are more lethal than guns, if they just ran parallels and actually used spike strips...

the problem with 3.0 was people like esfand and moonmoon (just for example) who play for a short amount of time then leave the server after they bitched a cried the most to nerf almost everything on the server, just remember what happened to the all fun things that got nerfe in 3.0 like class 2s (AKs, grenades, pipebombs, fast cars, nitro, etc).

Nitro was gotten rid of because people were exploiting how they worked though I agree with everything else you said.
The exploit btw was tapping the nitrous to get the acceleration bonus of the initial burst of nitrous over and over again. So it made things like crashing not matter much anymore, so instead of being 5 seconds behind because of a crash it'll be more like 2 seconds.

Ray was in a chase with a cop today using a Bike that had like 60mhp, he escaped the cop no problem after a small chase and lost him a couple of times, mainly because cops are in general bad drivers, Moon moon is not even a good driver he is average, its just that most cops are bad at driving so he is good by comparation.Most good drivers in the PD were crim mains like Summit,Whippy,Tony,etc.
Cops are generally bad at literally everything. They all Open fire inappropriately and fire indiscriminately and shoot like storm troopers, they drive their hyper souped up indestructible bumper cars I’d like a headless chicken, and never work together or come up with a plan or train for situation’s where they can see their lacking ability and the criminals are taking advantage of that. They just whine and complain that they can’t get the win.
If you remove the ability to use bikes then you should be able to lock pick fast cars to mitigate that problem

man I really missed these pd echo chamber ooc chats from 2.0 & 3.0 they always brought great changes to nopixel that made it so much better. It will never change. Something overbalanced in PD favour, crims have to "Roll with it" or change how they do it, scuff happens in the PD favour " roll with it". Something that makes PD getting the W in anyway harder there will be 20 different Crim nurfs and 10 new rules put into place. This happend with uncuffing, how long it takes to seat people in cars, anytime a car was slightly better then a PD car, PD guns, PD helicopters. Then they always act so confused as to why crims wont just " take the L" with zero police work on their part. As a viewer it just makes it very boring to watch. At least in 2.0 and 3.0 there was some cops that knew how to balance doing the job with having fun. 4.0 seems to have done everything it can to push any of those cops out very quickly or they didnt bother coming back at all.

Removing bikes is probably not the answer. If theres an issue they just need to figure out a balance where they nerf bikes in other ways like making them have smaller fuel tanks, making them handle worse, making their turn rate worse or giving PD more bikes that are faster than crim ones.

This. If you swapped the vet crim roleplayers and the vet pd roleplayers, the PD would be unstoppable. The current cops are simply not good and have never been trained properly. It's simple.

Ray had a chase today where he and Fiona lost a Cop on a horrendous bike that would go to 60mph and could not hop onto anything at all, Its not just that bikes are fast ,is that Cops are not that great at driving, the best cops for chases are mostly criminal mains, Moonmoon says he s a good driver, well he is kinda not. he is average, most people in PD are bad drivers. There are criminals like Dundee,octo and Tony just running circles around everyone in the PD. Dundee usually picks shitty cars for chases too because otherwise is too easy for him.

If cops stopped stacking charges and trying to push the boundaries of the charges and charge things double time double fine just because they think they can get away with it instead of charging the actual charges that apply maybe crims would stop using bikes to try and get away.

I don't think this will happen because, in my opinion, the thing that spoiled the fun of Nopixel the most previously was the interference of what they call "big Streamers" in server matters and rules. For example, Summit1g opinion on racing and cars. You can find dozens of videos about his opinion on races and car racers. After that, the server changed the racing style and mechanism. Cars work, according to Summit1g opinion, instead of taking the opinion of people who have established their character for playing cars and racing From there, the racing scene on the server changed for the worse, to Downhill

There is an easy way to balance it all. Make them a financial burden. I wouldn't mind at all seeing a bike that didn't last long at all during a chase. Lets say you cannot build or purchase a bike until you own a house with a garage. Perhaps building a bike for one time use in a pivotal mission would make sense. Also, Its not uncommon for Police Departments to auction off seized recreational vehicles after a time. Acquiring junkers and fixer-uppers would also be expensive but also a viable source of revenue for the PD. As far as how the police handle bike chases, I see nothing wrong with the RP of getting jammed up in a tight alley way or soaring off an overpass time and time again. It makes for great action and comedy, if I say so myself. All in all, bikes were never the main focus in GTA so, make them expensive as fuck to maintain and a liability just to own one. I hope NoPixel considers making it more difficult to get rich using bikes rather than eliminating their uses entirely. Simply, just imagine loose money flying out of your bag while escaping a bank job. The longer you ride the more you lose. Problem solved.

That’s the crazy part is the cop wanting and insisting on the criminal losing and the punishments for the criminal to be excessive and punitive for the sake of their own vindictive enjoyment. I have no clue why they have this urge for it except for just power-hungry sociopaths. Cops do not gain or lose anything if they catch or don’t catch criminals. Literally nothing happens. they catch a guy, nothing happens for that cop. when they don’t catch a guy, nothing happens for that cop. No progress lost no items lost , no reputation lost with a contact no fine no jail time literally nothing happens and they’re so obsessed with catching criminals to the point of ruining the criminals experience for their benefit which is nothing because they don’t benefit at all from catching criminals. I think it’s crazy the cops have such big main character energy where they really are side characters to the criminal story because the criminal chose to do a job and the police or a consequence of that. The police didn’t come over the role-play scenario they got a ping that tells them exactly what they need to know and they use that as proof that a crime has been committed they didn’t have to do any evidence gathering or investigation they just were mechanically told that a criminal did a bad thing and you should go catch them . Their sole purpose on the server is to make the criminals get away harder and more enjoyable. Their purpose is not to catch every criminal every time they chase them no matter what, or that that cheese should be easy and manageable for them.

@@thENDweDIE I’d agree with you. yeah I’m all for people playing into the cops narrative during the chase in allowing themselves to be caught or doing something stupid that gets from caught to make the story more fun and exciting. I main example is CG with the clowns, The clowns come up with a cool new plan to screw with CG and CG just go along with it because they know it’s gonna be fun and different and new and just enjoyable to watch. They can take the L because they know the clowns aren’t gonna pocket wipe them or do scummy things. The problem is when the PD get their hands on you they ring you out for every last drop they can get and then some every time. And they think that’s some sort of a win or accomplishment. I just find it vindictive and punitive for no real reason other than to be vindictive and punitive. The more Chargers they can stack and harsher and excessive the charges are the bigger the win for some weird reason. I think the police should have to put in more work for their job and actually pay way more for their items and be open to litigation way easier by citizens so that there’s actually some movement and disruption to the players on cop. They’re just stagnant immortal Rich people with nothing to spend their money on and no other goals other than to try to screw over as many criminals as harsh as possible. Then police would get different types of RP other than chase car, shoot criminal, get yelled at in the cells … rinse and repeat. I think the main part is the server was nowhere close to being ready to be released for 4.0. And the cops MDT barely works right now and evidence reports that are super important keep magically disappearing or getting deleted somehow.

It's literally a snall army that they're using about 2% of that power max. Leaders need to direct the force and tell people to break off and parallell.. if they see the chase leading to a known swap spot send a unit or 3 up ahead to cut them off... there's a LOT the police could and should be doing but that takes a slight bit of effort so they won't and will instead just cry to devs to change things and make it super easy to catch the crims. Cops face little to no penalties for actual bad police work as long as they get the W.
