Back in the days, I mean the 1980s, on the rockabilly scene in Los Angeles there was Rosie Flores and Dwight Yoakam. They were both the most popular and the most talented on the scene. Somehow, the music industry decided to pick up and sell the hell out of Dwight Yoakam, and they left Rosie behind. I don't think anybody really knows... A shame.
Had some great times at the WIND in San Diego with you and the Screamers in the late 70s. You were so kind and sweet! Still stay in touch with Looby and Paul-missed you at Tio Leos last year. God bless you Rosie, Dick Schauf
We had a cat pee in our mid sized red early 60's car so finally dad went out to get an early 70's or late 60's Osmobile delta 88 it was huge ugly and dark green for the life of me I couldn't figure out why he picked that car except he was tall and needed leg room. It was hideous and was like riding in a big boat. Lol

I saw Rosie when she was with Asleep At The Wheel- June 1997 at the Broken Spoke- time really does fly.
