100% That's a big part of why I love her music....it's this universe of sound that does not sound like anything else. I'm pretty profient at various instruments...and I know music theory quite well. And I love that Claire DOESN'T know all that stuff. She makes musical choices I never would...because I'd probably dismiss it as too naive or something. But I'd be wrong. It only matters if it sounds great. And her music is creative and exciting and weird and catchy and inspiring....
Love claire. And it's her prerogative to make what art she wants but her older works seems more natural/organic when she had nothing to prove or to lose. Her skillset as a producer has grown and her raw talent will take her far, she owes me nothing and i'm grateful to witness her narrative.
