The tv highlight of any Christmas, was the Morecambe and wise show..wonderful comedy, and sketches..I didn't know he could play the piano, smashing video david...
I've heard the name Morecambe, but the show never aired here. It sounds like the equivalent of Jackie Gleason's piano here. Mr Gleason was a comic who was also a good musician. Really good. I'm betting somewhere out there are some fans who've seen old recordings or saw the shows live and WANT THAT PIANO.
Seems a very low estimate to me but I, like a lot of people loved their shows.I didn't know that Eric could play the piano properly, sounds a bit like Les Dawson.Another interesting video, thanks.
A thousand quid is not a lot of money for a piece of genuine comedy history. I agree, I think it will go for quite a bit more than that. Beautiful house, by the way.
@@DavidHarperAntiquesI bore my wife senseless with Eric's line " I'm playing all the right notes, not necesarily in the right order " bless them both.
love the colour of the piano, another result in the waiting !

Yes, quite a guy...they both were. Nothing to match them today I’d say

Yes, I’d think so, A fan with a bit of spare cash would love this !
Us older types have Eric’s ‘Mr. Preview’ engraved in our minds. 😉
It’s true…still makes me cry with laughter!

Wonderful experience to film this…as with a lot of these earlier performers, they were multi talented
