    Thanks, there's something I want to ask about the requirement to enter Norway university. In my country, Indonesian school certificates are not accepted as a German university entrance qualification. However, we can gain this admission by passing a qualification assessment test by joining a course (’Studienkolleg’), a one-year course designed to prepare applicants for academic studies in Germany. This means I need to study for 1 year in Studienkolleg and have to pass a qualification test to study in Germany. That's an example.
    Do Norway universities requirements need a course and qualification test for us or we can directly apply to the university?

      Requirements for admission in Norwegian universities vary from school to school. There are some schools with country-specific information. But generally, you can apply directly to almost all schools.

    So there’s this other challenge I have with the applications to school. There are schools that require WAEC certificates (sometimes for proof of English also). How do we get that certificate ?

    • @TRAVELWITHBENNETT
      @TRAVELWITHBENNETT  3 роки тому +1

      I dont know where your country of origin and how WAEC operates there but in Ghana, where i come from, WAEC Certificates are issued in addition to the WAEC Examination Results.
      I think you should contact your High School for assistance in that direction.

      Please send the school a copy of the WASC result and the school can verify the result online, you have to send them a card and a pin #, then the school will verify the result online directly. You have to use the school admission email address to send the scratch card and pin #. Hope this help.

      For proof of English, request an official letter from the school to be sent directly to the admission email address, request the school to copy you when the proof is being sent out that way you will know that it has been done.

    Hi Bennett. I just noticed (as of 7 Nov 2022) a note posted on the website for Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (see below). It seems as though Norway is trying to make it federal law that non-European Union students will need to pay full university fees. I wonder if this is just Norway doing this, or if it will become a policy in all European countries in the future.
    *Information regarding current government proposal for tuition fees: The Norwegian Government has proposed the introduction of tuition fees for students from countries outside the EU/EEA/EFTA, beginning from fall 2023. We do not know if the parliament will accept the proposal, but applicants should be prepared that the decision can affect tuition fees from the fall 2023. A decision is expected by mid-December 2022. For the time being there are no tuition fees at HVL, and prospective students are advised to apply in the regular manner, which means you do not need to show financial ability in order to apply. Take note that you must document that you are able to cover your living costs during the study period if you are to apply for a study permit to Norway*

This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
