I always wonder how it feels. You see white athletes married to people who look like them...Asian same. Then you see majority of black athletes married or with people who dont look like them. Of course love is love. So white love only sees white love 99% of time while black love only sees biracial and white love? Do you see where im going? I feel for the black athlete always feeling inferior, never enough.

Don’t tread lightly, say what you feel . I’m constantly having conversations with black people ( especially black men) about why they date out . Let me be clear , I’m not against interracial marriage I’m more so intrigued by the conversation of blackness. I think it’s interesting how a black man will have a child with a white women and say that their child is black . We oftentimes erase the biracial experience; black men will state that they created a black child but then be upset with the NBA Draft is full of biracial players that don’t “look like them”

Black people really truly do not understand interracial dynamics in business or in love. We have so much work to do on OURSELVES. Until black men and women learn to see ourselves as “The Prize” we will remain at the bottom as support structures for EVERYONE ELSE. If we are not going to do that then we must learn to accommodate ourselves to where we are.

@@moretothegame No matter what anyone says the problem with black people is that we (black men and women) seem to have an inability to resist the strong gravitational pull of moral depravity. It causes a downward spiral that engulfs our entire race in everything needed to destroy any group of people. Look at rap and hip hop culture and then look at the anti-Israel marchers you will notice the world stereotype of black people clearly MANIFEST. Let me clarify examples: All human organs have certain hungers. The stomach hungers for: FOOD
      The lungs hunger for: OXYGEN
The heart hungers for OXYGEN and BLOOD
      The muscles hunger for: ACTIVITY
      The brain hungers for: KNOWLEDGE
Yet of all people on earth with knowledge readily available for free BLACK PEOPLE are the least interested in engorging themselves with it. To sound wise they desire AFTER EVERYTHING ELSE. The anti-Israel black marchers would have been known the world over for wisdom had they said: "After I study this situation in depth I will give my opinion, meanwhile I suggest that we all go to class and discuss this in depth in an immediate forum and submit papers. HELL NO we want a sensationalistic rush of participation in the madness of the crowd. We want to cut class. Then after we graduate, if at all, without a true well earned degree (obvious because they have NO CLUE WHY THEY ARE MARCHING OR WHAT THEY ARE MARCHING FOR) we want to go to a high paying job in a field SATURATED with JEWISH PEOPLE and expect to get hired even though intellectual and verbal skills (with hyper-excellent extemporaneous english speaking and rhetorical brilliance) must be the BARE MINIMUM and can be acquired in THE CLASSROOM and NOT reading your rallying points from your FKING cellphone. Who has been your ETERNAL ally in America, Black Child? If God does not bless any nation with a Jewish population that nation is truly accursed. Africa has yet to learn that and will remain in a tailspin. Those Black students marching know nothing about The Maghreb or the Trans-Saharan Slave Trade or today's OCCUPATION of North Africa. Indeed Israel has NEVER occupied a single colony in Africa but hey you'd have to READ that in order to know that, so that is impossible for you to know. Critical thinking requires extensive and intensive reading in order to develop logical thinking. In a class you learn to debate NOT in an unenlightened morass of a crowd of extraordinarily carnal, hedonistic, anti-intellectual, nation- destroying, walking ZOMBIES. Who bolstered the Civil Rights Movement? Who has always been a sympathetic and self-sacrificing ally in the racial struggles of Black People even to their own deaths? The very people you are marching against and now embittering with your deluded, perfidious, traitorous, and woefully ignorant marching. The very people you are advocating have NEVER EVER RESPECTED YOU for even having an intellectual capacity in their entire history even though the Jewish people took note of your POTENTIAL. Who fostered your upward mobility? Go look in North Africa and you will NOT find them.

GENERALLY SPEAKING, I believe MOST Black men date and/or marry outside of the "race" for reasons other than "race". I believe by and large it has more to do with CULTURE than COLOR. Statistically there are MORE White/non-Black women that come from a 2-parent MARRIED household, presumably where the man is able to lead his family and household, then what the numbers are in the Black, mainly single mother led household. Men GENERALLY (non toxic, heterosexual masculine men) regardless of ethnicity, want to marry a woman and into a family with at least a solid traditional family history where the daughter has a good and healthy relationship with her father and the parents are still together married. Because that is a strong indication that the otherwise White/non-Black woman will bring those solid values into there marital covenant.

Even though Blacks lead in this category, you should look at the stats because all across the board fatherlessness has increased. Again I’m just sharing my observation in my view. I can’t speak for every individual Blackman for why it didn’t work out or why he’s not in the lives of his children and your children’s mother. He could be a deadbeat loser. Or he could’ve made a horrible mistake of laying with a vindictive and scorn Woman who would ultimately intentionally keep the father’s children out of his life, AGAINST the father’s desire or wishes. Context is always key.

All of this is great, but the fact is this is 2023. Black women no longer have exclusive access to black men. And a lot of women outside of the black community are attracted to black men. And in this day and time they are free and more openly pursuing black men. Another factor is black people underestimate that black American men are some of the most desired men in the world. The fact is at least 20 percent of every ethnic group of women are open to dating and marrying black men. Now you do the math, Nlack women face stiff competitive for successful black men and many can’t compete or don’t want to.

We’ve caught so much hell in this country as a people, especially Black men that some of them once they make it, want no memories of the past. When Black men don’t heal and go back to their original creation role, they run at the moment of seeing their own shadow. Black women haven’t been taught to have that sweet fragrance they tend to smell from white or Latina women. With that said, the actual stench some say they actual smell on Black women, is actually their very own scent. Once the men are in order, the women will fall into place. Many BM want it the other way around. They keeps them from having to do the work. BW need healing as well. This was all part of the original plan to keep us divided. Take the man and you destroy the family. Interesting numerical facts on the number of BM who marry BW. The media paints a completely different picture.

With Beckey there's a higher level of co-operation compared to Trishana that has something to prove and keeps trying to down play or contradict his decisions, especially when it's a calm tempered brother. Most black women tend to take calmness for weakness and a door open to all kind of BS, while with most white women it's the complete opposite.

I often wondered the same thing but, eventually came to the same conclusion regarding the schools they attend.
My high school was approximately 75% White, 15% Hispanic, 7% Black and 3% Asian.
About 97% of the Black guys I graduated with, married or were in long term relationships with White, Hispanic or mixed women after high school. The same percentage of Hispanic guys married White women and the Hispanic women married White men. The White women in my graduating class all married either White or Asian men. Only one White male (that I'm aware of) married and had children with a Black female. The others all married White, Hispanic and Asian women.
The sad fact or the matter is that Black women appear to be the odd ones out and it's not only Black pro-athletes that shun them. Travis Kelce is the poster-boy for making it ok to date and bed Black women but, marrying one is seemingly not an option.
As your podcast points out, the number of Black pro-athletes who are in long-term relationships or married to Black women, is far greater than we know but, they don't often show those couples.
They really should show them however and change the perception. They also need to stop showcasing every Black draft prospect with some sad, hard knock life story. They don't all come from those types of situations.

This mostly has to do with matriarchy and patriarchy. In black communities over the last 4-5 decades there was a degradation of patriarchy and a hyper adoption of matriarchy. The woman thus is the leader in many black families. In non black communities those women grow up in an environment of patriarchy, where the man is the revered leader of the family. As a result, many men seek patriarchal status. Thus as they get access to women from those environments they date and marry in them. But keep in mind again the vast majority of black men at all income levels date and marry black women. As a society that lusts “content creation”, we love to focus on the extremes and globalize them as low standard deviations b/c it garners more emotional attention. And attention (dopamine) is more addictive than crack cocaine or heroine.

This is true and it all stems within of how they view the people around them and themselves most importantly. I’ve came to realization that some black men will purposefully choose to date outside of their race knowing that their partner family doesn’t like them. They believe it’s a prize that they get picked but, when it’s just their partner wanting to make their parents mad. Within the aspects of an athlete’s point of view having a ww in their arm is a status symbol but, the kicker is it’s not! WW barely hold the power of what WM have and WW are well aware that having a BW means nothing to them it holds nothing but, guess what the money that the professional black athlete does. Podcaster MTTG’s math doesn’t hold up. The black AA college demographic is appx 30% male & 70% female (from 2022 accreditation committees’ enrollment data). Moreover black males are highly concentrated in playing with a ball while black females are found in almost all majors. It’s not that eligible black women aren’t around, it’s that they are apparently last choice if even wanted at all. The black male preference for non-black women is a uniquely U.S. phenomenon among countries with a sizable black population. The firm opinion overseas is black African women from English speaking places (former British colonies) make the best wives in the world, bar none. Why it’s different here is something sociologists, psychologists, and others would have to study. Subjects to examine include trophy wives, status symbols, financial security, personal attraction, family expectations, and outside influences among others. Hopefully we’ll get better understanding of why so many prominent and well heeled black men prefer non-black women, instead of the varied speculation currently being offered.

Racial date preference plays a huge role. Some BW don’t understand or ignore that people have different attractions. Many BM are sexually attractive to WW and many WW sexually attractive to BM simple as that. Self hating is not a thing, as Gen Z I could speak for my generation who are extremely proud to be black American, but of course there is cases where some ppl will wish they were something else. The reason why many WW are obsess with BM is the way the media and the music industry show the society how “strong” BM is, how “masculine” BM is, and quite frankly many women not just WW love that about men and let’s not talk about the false stereotypes that the pornography industry created about BM. Idk why ppl will he talk about this and or even try to understand, like what is there to understand, it is just a two individual who are dating or marrying. No one talks about how Asian women prefer to date a WM.

That’s because Asian women aren’t notorious for bashing their men. Having a preference for a race different than yours is not natural, it’s conditioned self hatred. Many Black men remind the world that they hate their female image. I believe most black men, particularly young dark skinned black men, go through a phase where they don’t like black women. Then once they realize Becky is a fetish they come back to bw with pro-black agendas…black men and white women fetishize each other, it’s more than attraction when black males will have orgies with anything blonde and most white women will end up cheating with a black man cause her family doesn’t approve or she doesn’t want black kids.

Many of us have been thru much and still we are able to love our black men unconditionally and we deserve to know why the white woman would be your preferred choice over the woman who looks like your mother. Are you hating your own mother? A conversation is needed. I recently almost vomited with such disgust because I was literally trying to understand why someone like D'Angelo Russell of the Los Angeles Lakers who comes from a poor area of Kentucky, would prefer to love and start a family with a white woman instead of a beautiful black woman. My father always said "its an ignorant black man who will share their wealth with the slave masters daughter". May my father rest in peace. Am I angry? Hell yeah because if I wasn't married, I deserve a man like D'Lo Russell so yes, I'm sad for the next young black woman who LOVES him but knows the truth and that is shes nothing to him. That to me is something I will never understand until a panel of discussion is had. THANK God for men like Denzel Washington and Magic Johnson and many more who LOVE their beautiful black queens. This is a very interesting subject. I would love to host a show and just talk to black women and really get their point of view on this matter. I’ll share with you my own personal experience with dating a white woman. And mind you, I was not a professional athlete, didn’t come from a rich family, and was just pretty much an ordinary young man. Back then in my clubbing days, I was dating this blonde white girl. Well, one night we decided to go to a predominantly black club in the (DMV). Long story short, we were dancing having a good time and then found a table and decided to chill for a minute. So, I just so happen to scan the room so to speak, (look a around). And I couldn’t help but notice EVERY BLACK CHICK standing near the walls, or sitting at their tables, was starring at me with the most hateful glare! I mean if looks could kill, I would have definitely been dead! When I actually took a second to look in the face on a few of them, the look in their eyes said, how dare you date this white girl and bring her in here. Shortly after that, I then realized that my white date noticed all the stares and tension in the room as well. But much to my surprise, she didn’t shy away from it. She actually began to gloat in the moment. She began to rub the back of my neck and smile as if to say, yeah, he’s with me. I guess my question is: Why were all these black women so angry at me for dating this white woman. And you women on here know that look I’m talking about too! If looks could kill, I would have been dead that night! Sistas, please explain to me why you think all of those black women in that club that night were so angry when they saw us together. Hi, just offering a little feedback.
I'm a black woman and I don't think black men understand that we love them as brothers first. So any perceived tension is usually not just because the woman is white, but because we can sense when another woman doesn't have good intentions for the black man she's with. Another reason could be that we consider some of our afro-centric spaces sacred and enjoy moments away from the scrutiny and/or microagressions of others. If the place you brought your girlfriend to was a staple in your black community, the ladies may have been a little annoyed, feeling like they couldn't be themselves the way they can when it's just us black folk. They probably also picked up on her heavy affection as "doing way too much" lol.
Out of curiosity, what did you think of your girlfriend appearing to enjoy what she thought was jealousy? I've always wondered if black men notice this dynamic and if they consider it a red flag.
There are plenty of black men who have non-black spouses or openly date non-black women who appear to genuinely care for them (Dave Chappelle, Wayne Brady, Seal, Trevor Noah) and we love them. If they're happy, we're happy. I think there's only a problem when A) their white spouse is likey just using them for sex, money, or both or; B) their white spouse is trolling black women through them and they're knowingly allowing it, which feels like betrayal and disrespect to black women.
Dope podcast idea. Best of luck!

Let me ask you this: what if the rolls were reversed, and the girlfriend was black on a date with a white guy, but in a club that was predominantly white. If she (the black girl) started getting all the hateful gazes towards her, how would you expect her to feel? Also, you made some very interesting points earlier. The only one I can give an answer with assurance is, I know my girlfriend wasn’t trying to use me, or had any bad intentions towards me in general. Thanks and I look forward to your response.

It's just a man-woman thing. There's no need to read to much into it. For many athletes going off to college is the first time they interacted with women who weren't black. Those opportunities were ripped from your people. “Better looking?” Why because that’s what they told you? That’s what they pushed in media? During slavery? Do you know what was done to your ancestors. Slavery still has its effect on BP today. And just like the stain is still there for BP, the privilege of WW still resonates today. @@moretothegame do you remember a LSU football running back star: Derrius Guice from a few years ago who had raped two LSU female tennis players in their apartments?
There names are Samantha Brennan; and Abby Owens; and they both said in an interview that they were star struck by his appearance when they were in a bar; he continuously bought Brennan shots of Petrone (tequila) and she was so intoxicated that he took her to her apartment and removed her clothing and proceeded to rape her then he took photos of her with one of the photos of her almost naked with a stray dog and passed the photo around the men’s locker room.
In my opinion; he missed an excellent opportunity to have a high quality alpha female LSU athletic tennis player who was successful at tennis; he blew it!
Instead of buying her constant shots of Petrone tequila shots he should have made arrangements with her to take a fishing trip to the coast and rent a boat and fish for Cajun shrimp/prawns; and on another occasion he could have taken her to a restaurant; and on another date he could have taken her to a bowling alley and go bowling knocking down the pins!
This would have been better than getting her inebriated and not having to rape her; and another LSU female tennis player:Abby Owens who was raped by him.
