Hi, I was thinking, Is it possible to separate and replace ONLY the glass without the digitizer on the series 3? I watched some people do this on the series 4 but in all the repair videos about the series 3 they replace the whole glass and digitizer?
Yeah, it’s possible, you just need to put the cutting wire between the glass and digitizer, but be careful because digitizer is incredible fragile. Maybe that is the reason why people replace glass and digitizer togheter
@@diegoquintana7081 In fact I found out that it's not possible on series 3 because the glass and digitizer are integrated together. In the other series it is possible but not in 3.

Tom Cook yes but if you dont have the maching home button for that motherboard you won’t get touch id. So you could use the old button from the other mother board but you wont get touch id only home button function.
