This is probably one of the best looking light bars out there for the Model Y but I'd hold my breath on quality especially if it's coming from Hannshow. Time will tell if these taillights will keep water out of them.
@@uberAsian Appreciate your comment.
I have no issue with the water getting in the light so far with a few car wash, 3 days of rain, and 4 days of snow.
The only quality issue is alignment.

I have those lights already from satonic brand who were the original vendor of these version 2 cyber LED lights for a while now. The only thing is they will leak water in the car because they don’t have gaskets / grommets between the light harness and the holes where harness goes in car body, I had to silicone to cover the holes and around the harness.
@@Green-Mamba Appreciate your comment. I just wash the car yesterday and have no issue with water leak. It does have rubber gaskets around the light on the outside though.

@@mancha4083 No problem 😉
@dadstoyscars So you didn't use any double sided tape in the middle of the lightbar?
@@dillondough4290 not at all because the middle part connects to two inner lights which helps hold it together.

Do you know if they'll make one compatible for Model 3 2022? Also if you have the time maybe test fit it on yours. I'm guessing it's an adapter harness that's needed

At the moment they only offer Model Y version.
I’m sure if the housing would be the same for Model 3.

Hi, just wondering, your pilot light is not working? Just ordered front lid from evbase used your 20% discount code. 😊

Looks like an ID4 - Audi E-Tron taillight system! Looks good but I wonder from a legal standpoint how it affects the warranty. I bought the extended 2- year warranty for my 2020 MYP and they had my sign a waiver before replacing the 12V battery cause I installed an automatic frunk system from Hansshow which works great 2 years after.
@@Angelboy99 If something wrong with the taillights then Tesla won’t cover because you replace OEM with aftermarket. But the rest should still be covered in my opinion.
But I’m not 100% sure.

hi mate, considering this one upgrade, is the light housing a bit too red? will be nice if its bit darker or tinted.
Have you run tests with 12.5 FSD if the light bar interferes with the tracking?

I no longer have FSD in my car but I don’t think FSD would affect the taillights.

Hello how are you? One question, if you installed these feno lights on my tesla model Y doesn't interfere with the car warranty?

@dadstoyscars Im also thinking about the same thing. I dont really like the reflector lights. I'm about to purchase this set of tail light. Will I be able to install it without the little reflector lights on rear bumper? I hope it won't affect the tail lights operatuon overall. Please let me what you think. Thanks.
@@francischen7680 If you already have the reflector light installed and you think it’s too much going on with this taillights and you just easily deactivate the reflector lights by not plugging them in and just hide the wires.
They wouldn’t affect anything.

@dadstoyscars Thank you for your reply. I haven't purchase the set yet, I'm about to get it from Hansshow this week with ur coupon code. So the main tail lights should still work if I choose not to put on the reflector lights right? I'm planning to install the new tail lights without using the reflector lights.

Can you test fit if it'll fit on Model 3? The box says it's for 3/Y I'm pretty sure it's just gonna need an adapter. Maybe test out the adapter from gen 1 on this gen 2.
Morimoto taillights for 3 can work with Y as long as you use the included adapter
@@builtbypi2276 I’m not sure if the inner taillight which attaches to the trunk is the same shape as Model 3. I would need confirmation from Hansshow.
@@dadstoyscars If you have a model 3 can you try to see if this Gen 2its the same width. If thats the case then its probably just gonna need a adapter harness to work for the 3. Other "cyber" taillights are made for both the 3 and Y and include an adapter in box
