I always have Great respect for Jet Li.He is not just an Great actor,Great martial artist or Great Action Star But also a Good Person.He is such a Humble and Honest person.
jet li is a great actor and also an exellent martial artist ,his skills are to me beyond superb ,i really dont know how to put words to his use of martial arts.lets say that its his way of life ,with that i mean to jet li martial arts is way more than punches and kicks its like i said, its his way of living his life.
I really respect jet li I think he is a very good person in real life as well as in movies and he has real skills and his cute too 😊 I grew up watching his movies I can remember the first I watched from him was Romeo must die I loved it
Merve Erbil Romeo must die was his first main role in an American movie. He was in lethal weapon 4 before that but that was a very small role. He just had 1 sence
@Hotora86 You are missing a crucial factor, Jet Li was from Shaolin, and Shaolin trained their students with WEAPONS, it's called the '18 Arts of Weapons'. 18 AoW doesn't mean there are 18 different weapons but the 18 actually refers to the 18 different catagories of weapons training(more than 1 weapon per cat). Give everyone in the film any weapon of their choice and Jet Li could win them anytime with any weapons he were trained. Being a ProFighter is worthless when facing a Weapon Specialist.
remember you guys its just a film. this movie in no way portrays the true capabilities of Jet Li but because its a film it doesn't have to! Jet Li was by far my favorite actor in the movie, but I'm not mad that they didn't showcase his usual awesomeness because I have most of his Chinese films and they are just great
I didn't know Jet played a Vietnamese character.... he has played Chinese-American characters (Gabe Law/Gabe Yulaw from The One) and a Taiwanese (Su in Cradle 2 the Grave)
i love these expendables movies. yes, they are almost-cheesy "leave your brain at the door" action movies. but they do kinda take the piss out of themselves & these "BIG BAD-ASS" action actors are very tongue in cheek about both the movie & their roles in it. shows them in a VERY favourable light. slainte to them all
@minichicki you mean after FEARLESS. He said he would not do any wushu films but will still be making martial art movies. Check out his filmography and he has several chinese martial art films coming late 2010 and 2011eg Dragon gate inn :P
Its not Hollywood its the Writer/Director..and a Movie with Stallone..Who do you think American fans want to see more?Jet li which is like 40%less known than Stallone in America..There gonna give Stallone a bigger part cause people want more of him.But man i love Jet i wish he was the Main one..but it would be weird with a movie starring Stallone you get me?

the directors and writers did not do jet li any justice in this movie. he won the wushu competition for all of mainland China in changchuan when he was only 14. the skill he has in martial arts could even take down the toughest of the tough.

His English is very good, for a person crossing over from Chinese. I can't imagine speaking Chinese in an interview 0_0 they'd show my reel just for a laugh.
jet li's laugh is so funny. but atleast in expandable they made the fight realistic. jet li out smart the dude but the guy is clearly stronger causing him to beat up jet li when he grapple him.
@ZuueQuartet Jet Li isnt the only real fighter Randy is a cage fighter ... not just an actor And Steve austin is a verry physical person to be a wrestler even tho its mostly acting .. aswell as Dolph competes in real full contact fighting too .
Jet Li's character was a little weaker than Stallone's and Statham's. He doesn't have many spotlight moments in the movie, but he does deliver a pretty cool axe kick during the final action scene.
He's normally serious in his movies but, outside of that, he loves to smile..and is very funny. Love Jet.
