Hello,
This is my cover of David Gilmour's, "Then I close my eyes."
I actually recorded the song a year ago, but never did anything with it. This time, I recorded it again and uploaded it.
The video of the lake is also what I recorded last year as well.
Little note: The video messing up in a few spots is not your computer. It's how it was rendered on my computer. Lately, my computer has been getting worse and worse and have not had the money to upgrade it. I also rendered it in a different format, so now, you should be able to hear it as loud as you need to!
Anyway, hope you like it. If so, please subscribe and / or share. Thanks a lot!
-Dane
PS. For those interested in my Marooned cover back last year, here's the link: • Marooned - Dane Bryant...
This song is so melodic and you got it all perfect!
I am a big David Gilmour fan. This is a brilliant version, well done. I especially like how you have not stuck to the original note for note and made it your own.
Wow, no words can express it, except awesome!
Great playing and interpretation, really enjoyed it.
Thank you very much!
the tone of your guitar really suits this song and it feels very relaxing. Very well done.
Thanks man, glad you liked it! And that's what I enjoy doing. I like to be original and make original solos, rather than copying someones. Thanks again,
Dane
Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it! I'll be sure to fix all of that. Been trying to improve my mixing, as I've not been as happy as I'd like it to be yet.
Thanks again,
Dane

Such a great cover, love it! Great job!
Thanks a lot! Same for me goes as well as GilmourTrueHD. And lol, I assume because it got lost or forgotten. Actually, a lot of videos have gotten like that, unfortunately. But I usually only upload videos of what I like the best, and don't upload the ones that I don't really like much.
Thanks again!

Thanks a lot! Means a lot!
You're welcome, I plau saxophone myself and you're not bad, sounds great.
Hey thanks man! And naa, just a really soft song I enjoy. And I do agree with you as I normally like songs with a bit more to them then this, but this I wanted to make in a very particular way, and to keep it really soft and not do a lot of extra stuff....which can be hard not to do sometimes! Lol.
Anyway, thanks again,
Dane

2023🎉 casi 2024 y aun me transmite el mismo sentimiento❤❤
Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoy it after all these years!
cudowne!
How did you get that gilmour sound?
First off thank you. It's nice to hear someone say that after trying achieve a similar tone. I believe I used Amplitube for this, but can't remember what patch I used or modified. The guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. If I'm correct, at that time I was using a Gibson '57 Classic in the neck and '57 Classic Plus in the bridge - as I still do today.
Nice effort man! Keep it up and dont stop
Thanks! Don't worry, I'm going to keep doing music until I'm unable to anymore.
Thanks a ton, I greatly appreciate it!

Wielkie dzięki, doceniam to!
how did you get this guitar tone ?
I believe it was guitar rig back in the day. I likely created a custom patch, but can't remember exactly the settings I used.
@@DaneBryantFrazier you're a star, mate .. god bless you
