This show is incredible, it has everything you could possibly ask for. A tragic love story between two people who are seemingly alike regardless of their circumstances in life. But this show also resonates well with real life trauma and events that is prevalent in society. We are inexplicably drawn to people whom we connect deeply, everyone yearns for someone who would be there for them amidst trivialities and tempestuous storms that may befall them. Amazing performance by all of em. Park Ju-Hyun burrowed into my heart.
I think this drama is so powerful because it shows the story of how two people who quiet possibly are going through the same things and are in the same mental space act when together. it shows how they both deal with their personal issues and feelings differently but when they are together they both explode because they know without a doubt the other will save them/clean up after them
Same! I don't understand why everyone is hating on her. If I were her, I probably wouldn't have stolen jisoo's phone but I do understand why she did it and its pretty clear that she was with jisoo all this time because he knew the real her, unlike all her other friends and her parents.

This show really good , i really love the chemistry of bae gyuri and ji soo , it makes me feel like im out of this world . but so sad they didn't kiss , i wish for season 2 so badly

Funny coz whatever relationship with whomever they have will be a toxic relationship, they’ve crossed the line they cannot go back from and have too many enemies, at least when they’re together they have each other’s back.
@valentine I don't think their relationship was toxic although jisoo says it, cause you remember the scene in ep10 where he's in a very bad state and then decides to call Gyuri? that made me realise how imp it is to have someone in your life who knows your situation, during difficult phases. Jisoo only had Gyuri.
@ama Yes they're both broken, Jisoo was leading a dangerous life while Gyuri was suicidal, and wanted to escape her controlling parents (or atleast be loved by them). I feel sad seeing people blaming/hating the leads, I mean, I could see and feel how broken they are. So where and to whom can broken people go? They were afraid of associating and showing their true self with others because they might be judged or maybe the people around them would end up broken too. I guess that's why they stuck to each other. At the end of the day, a broken person can only feel safe with another broken person. 🙂 BY THE WAY, IT WAS BAD PARENTING THAT LED TO THE DISASTER. THE PARENTS WERE MOSTLY TO BLAME. I SEE PEOPLE HATING GYURI BUT I DON'T SEE ANYONE HATING THE MOTHER. i think she want help him to stop it. but she have problems too and this two are too young for help each other and its really hard when u see a lot of money to stop it. It was only a joke for two young child but dangerous.
