- Level Viper FAST for Final Fantasy 14 Main Story Quests. In this video I will demonstrate how I plan to level Viper from level 80 to 90 so I can go through the main story quests with Viper in dawntrail.

Just a heads up there is more you can do
You can pick up a WT book starting 6-18-24, and complete it but do not turn it in and let it roll over into next week. Wait until you are level 89 on Viper and then turn in the book for half a level, and then pick up the book for the week of 6-25-24, complete it and turn it in and you can an easy 89 to 90 level.
Also, you want to be doing the elephant beast tribe quests, as well as even the Pixie side quests in Shadowbringers while waiting in queue as they give 4x the xp that a normal EW side quest gives, and if you do them fast enough once servers come up, you can double up on these.
Another thing is it's kind of late to start doing it now, but there are squadron manuals that give you +15% exp (Heat of Battle 3) for 2 hours. But these are a weekly reward so the most you could get as of this video is 15 of them, unless your squadron is really good, you could get 30ish
And don't forget your EXP earring!

We already know the amount of exp needed to get to 81 and the 30 or so sidequests will only get you a bit less than half way there btw.
Highly recommend getting the accessories at least, because Viper (and Picto) gear box will likely only contain left side armor in addition to the weapon.

Only tribe quests, not side quests
EO is probably gonna be infinity faster than every other method so have one book picked up and ready for this week and when expansion hits turn in and pick up a new one finish it and you will be 81 then you can just go ahead and start EO farming according to research to get from 81-90 should take roughly 29 clears. You could also have 3 elephant beast tribes from the day prior and get the launch days elephant beast tribes quest aswell for like 7mil xp easy.
not really for EO, enemy HP values are much higher in there compared to the previous two deep dungeons, so each kill takes longer > opening each floor takes longer > clearing a set takes longer
the return value on the time you invest just isn't that great
@@rune1220 its objectively going to be the fastest way to lvl that doesn't rely on a bojza/zadnor instance being active. Roulettes are gonna be fairly awful because of queue times with 2 dps release.
Can someone who has never done EO already use this leveling method or does he need first a certain progression to be efficient in this deep doungen?
@@Kylar195 u just need to clear up to 30 once then you can que into 21-30 reset ur progress and go again over and over again for best xp gain without relying on a rng bojza instance
What about Zadnor? How is grinding there vs dungeon grinding?
Zadnor/Bozja will be quicker. With it being more populated during launch, fates will only take like 30 seconds

@@daniel1549 iirc Bozja/Zadnor fall off from 85 onward. It might be better to run duty support from that lvl
@@Saphyrz with duty support, the dungeon runs are going to be slow throughout 81-90 to the point that Bozja zones, even with a fall off, will still equate to being quicker overall. This is just how i found it when levelling all the classes to 90. Overall winner is doing duties with players to quicken the pace but role queue is going to be a nightmare.
there are a few other options out there. There's Obviously Bozja/zadnor and there's also Eureka Orthos. The ladder is better if you're max aetherpool with a full speedkill group, a group full of dps it'll be easy to get exp. Obviously PVP is also a good option but not nearly as fast as doing dungeons, however what i will say is duties won't be as fast you think it will be. Yes you can get into dungeons alot faster but bozja would be a million times faster then doing duties

As far as I remember, Bozja wans‘t really faster than doungen runs with level 80 onwards. At least for me, because I needed to much time to get to fates and the fates doesn’t pop up fast enough. Furthermore, the Exp bonus from the earings, which you get if you already purchased DT, doesn’t work on Bozja because the earings only give you Exp with kills, but the Exp from Bozja comes from fates.
Turn in wonderous tales and you are almost 81 for free.

Bozja is typically the fastest. But you can also que as DPS normally, and go do Fates while you wait on a 30 minute que. With any luck, there will be a ton of people doing fates in teh zone, and its much faster.
But you have a week. Unlocking and ranking Bozja/Zadnor is the fastest. Last expansion, I leveled reaper 70-80 in 6 hours.
yes, because Bozja has xp scaled to lvl 80, after a few levels above 80, it becomes far less interesting

Is Bozja still „the fastest“ if you calculate the exp bonus from the DT Earings, which only works for kills and not for Fate Exp, which means these earing doesn’t work in Bozja but in Doungens?
@@Kylar195 Bozja depends. If there is alot of people doing Bozja.. it will be the fastest way to level. Post level 85 it slows down but is still pretty fast.
Not sure about the earring. its only on monster kills, so shouldnt matter too much
@@lincolnjohnson4428 I have found a google docs sheet which calculates how many Fates in Bozja you need to do, for one level up and how many doungens you need to run with different exp bonuses. Furthermore it includes the expected time to doing so.
For Bozja it expects us to need 5 minutes for one fates (including the time to walk from one fates to another fates) and for Doungen runs it calculates with 20 minutes per run (which should be do able even in duty support).
The results is, that you would need round about 90 minutes to get from lvl 80 to 81 with bozja (for lvl 89 to 90 it would take 155 minutes) while with doungens you would only need 40 minutes for one level. Even if we say that you need 30 Minutes per duty support run, it would be faster with doungens at an exp bonus from 148% (Rested exp, armory bonus, 15% FC Buff, exp earings, Buff food exp). If we remove the rested exp bonus, then you would need round about 2 til 3 runs per doungen for one level up and you would still be faster than in Bozja.
BUT if we are fast enough to do one bozja fate every 3 minutes, while we need 30 minutes with duty support, THEN would bozja be the faster leveling methode.
If we are in a premade group so that we can do each doungen in 20 minutes, then doungen runs would be the faster ones, even with just a 95% exp bonus. To beat this constellation in bozja, you have to finish a bozja fate every 2 minutes and THIS would probably be too stressful and luck dependend because you would need a very active bozja zone for this.
