2 GB file = 2 Gibibyte 1 Gibibyte= 1024 Mebibyte 2 Gibibyte= 1024*2= 2048 Mebibyte partition spark = 2048/128=16 Gigabyte is different 1 Gigabyte = 1000 Megabyte Gigabyte - Decimal unit based on SI system unit Gibibyte - Binary Unit Example : 400 GB drive might appears as 372 GB in windows as its actual 372Gi(Gibibyte )
1GB = 1024MB
2GB = 2048MB
Default partition size = 128MB
So, for 2GB i.e 2048MB
2048MB/128MB=16
So, 16 Partitions will be created for 2GB File.
Hi, All your videos are extremely good and looking forward to more of such amazing content videos.... Thank you and appreciate your Hardwork.
Amazing videos to quick start and prepare! Thanks!

Hi Bhawna, Good Explanation, I am looking forward to all your interview questions videos for both ADB/ADF...
2 GB file = 2 Gibibyte
1 Gibibyte= 1024 Mebibyte
2 Gibibyte= 1024*2= 2048 Mebibyte
partition spark = 2048/128=16
Gigabyte is different
1 Gigabyte = 1000 Megabyte
Gigabyte - Decimal unit based on SI system unit
Gibibyte - Binary Unit
Example : 400 GB drive might appears as 372 GB in windows as its actual 372Gi(Gibibyte )
Superb informative! Please do more videos! and also use cases on spark practical!
Hi shouldn't it be 2GB = 16 partitions because 2000 MB / 128 MB = 15.6 ~ 16 partitions? Thank u so much!
1gb=1024mb
I think it will be 16 partitions and not 20 partitions ? 2048MB/128 MB = 16 ?
Yes correct. 16. e.g 2 executors 4 core. parallel 8 tasks
Good collection Bhawana 👌 👍 👏
Hi
If one partition is 128 MB, 2 gb file will have 16 not 20 partitions
