Jordan's family seems amazing.. Look at how open, sincere and calm everybody seem-
I know no one cares but people like this are extremely lucky to be able to just be able to play video games. For the last 3 years I have been wanting to build a PC but my parents won't let me. This may be favoritism but they even bought my little brother a PS4 and he did not even know what it was. Sure I get to play a little every once and awhile but 5 minutes in my dad comes in and says "here's the mental kid" or "this is the problem" and stuff like that. If your still reading this just be thankful that you are just able to play video games because some people would dye to be you.
Jonahxx3 What do u think? Is it really good to be a pro gamer who plays video games for 12-14 hrs a day ignoring his family members' feelings. If someone asks his/her parents that what does ur kid do? If they are truthful they will put their heads down, feel ashamed and say he is a 'pro gamer' Its awful for a mother or father not be able to raise his/her kid as she wanted to be.
eveR still parents are the ones who took care of u since u were born.. What is ur aim? to be a pro gamer too?
yeah there are some parents like this.. my parents are one of them. I told them that I can be better than those pro players becoz I got the passion but they simply say that... you are a fool? going make a living out of gaming... gaming is just for fun ... study.. study and study. if I was having parents like those pros than I can promise 1 thing that I can be one of the best pro players in the world. when I told the same thing to my parents they said that I am a fool and focus on my studies.. my father start making fun of me in front of my relatives so I feel bad and leave gaming but they do not know that my passion is gaming and I am never gonna leave that. I will be a Gamer till death and that's a promisr
Blaze 101 it's nice to know that there are other people with this problem my dad makes fun of me in front of relatives and friends, I have even lost friends because of this
Jonahxx3 i can also tell youre like 6 years old because "dye"
My older brother inspired me to play league of legends, I never got good at league of legends :3
+Pungga Just works on CsGo. Duh
that's cuz league is shit
+Pungga hahaha
+Pungga It works on dota. I will be your brother and you can go pro. (Pssst, I will take 25% from all the money you earn)
We NEED ONE FOR shroud!!! Thumbs up if you agree!!!!
True

+DK- lel

"[A]s long as I wasn't homeless, I was going to try to play Counter-Strike"
Love that determination to pursue his dreams
+counterfeit25 How can you write this comment and be homeless?
+Ricky Smits are you guessing that I am currently homeless?
counterfeit25 You said ''as long as I wasn't homeless''
+Ricky Smits I was quoting n0thing at 4:31 -.-
counterfeit25 oh ok
I don't understand, when you play too much, parents complain, when you succeed, they support you. ;_; RIP
no it cuz they dont really think you can get money of it an they want you to study so you succeed in things they think its possible to (and its not that easy to be a pro at anything not just cs)
Ik dude
Mythfox They r just helplesw, ya know.. its like their kids are out of hand and will become distant, so they have to be supportive. Inside they still feel that "No, this should not have happened. He/She should have been something else like doctors. Nobody wants his kid to become a pro gamer😂😂
2016 society ^^
Not hard to understand. They want the best for you. If you're sitting on your computer doing something seemingly unproductive for many hours a day when you could be learning something, engaging in a hobby, doing sports or whatever it may be, then it causes them to worry. The chances you ever translate those thousands of hours of gaming into something that will actually make you a living is incredibly unlikely, and that's the truth of it. They just want to set you up to have the best life you can have, and especially if you're prioritizing CS over your studies or friends, then it doesn't look like a particularly good thing for you to be doing. Once you start making cash they see that you can not only do something you love, but make money for it, which of course means that they'll support you to a certain extent as long as you're not dropping out of school for it.
Anyone else feel that their parents always complain about playing games too much but then when you succeed and it becomes a career, they will act like they supported you? :/
Check out Tarik's, he talks about how his dad physically broke his computer to stop him
Because it's like an actual sport. It's so hard and unrealistic to become a pro that parents may not support you as much as they should, but when you make it a career of course parents will be proud of you because you did the impossible
"actual sport" lmao
*****
Notice I said like an actual sport, meaning the chances are incredibly unlikely. It is not an actual sport by definition but I hate people who act like it shouldn't be a thing at all. Whatever the case you we're making here, you're just looking for an argument, please leave.
ANTI NANOSUIT Ok I get what you're saying but if you were calling it a actual sport them lmao.
So his mum and dad went to bedroom and n0thing happended?
n0thing will always be my favorite player
all of these player profiles gives me goose bumps or whatever it's called. It makes me happy seeing everything c:
0:54 I think he miss his golf shot
it looked like a swing to me since you can see the dirt and grass flying
Nick Cozine Still a practice swing.
A True Legend
awesome spotlight, gets me pumped
Hey, I inspired my brother to play CS, I even bought him the game! What do I get back in return?
A salty ass kid who calls me autistic for no reason. :D
MangoGamingYT Hahahahaha
MangoGamingYT Ur brother will quit his studies and become a pro gamer like this guy. Stop him if u can!
3:47 - 3:54 ... this went directly to my heart
This almost made me cry! ^^
This is so motivating that you can live your dream and do what you like to do..
This was really inspirational
Awesome dude! love these vids Valve!
really awesome video
n0thing is truly blessed to have his parents and brother support him with his goals to become a professional.
I love this series!
i like hearing that the pro players have been supported by their parents and this gave them the power to continue and make this hobby a carrer. my parents see this kind of things like it can't be a carrer and they don't support me(sorry for bad english and grammatical mistakes. english isn't my native tongue)
I'll show all these to my parents XD
Krupa they will give u a slap
No slap....but theyll cringe on it
I swear
what hiko and n0thing is brother ?!
+Ali Gayzanbarga *facepalm*

Dad just toking on the phat cigar
Good Bye, Jordan 'n0thinG' Gilbert... this had me crying.
I love these kind of vids about players, i could watch more ^^ from everyone
I love how everyone else's profiles are like all sad and just their families faces the whole time, but n0thing is just chilling in a canoe and playing golf.
I remember when my cousin and brother's friends would come over to play 1.6 and they would'nt let me play so I just watched for hours and hours.
the description makes me a better player in CSGO
Nothing u r a legend!
My older brother got me into CS looking good for me guys!
n0thing has always been my favorite counter-strike player
Omg I feel so good right now!! Jordan has the Same headset as me!!-
n0thing para mi gusto sos el mejor player de la historia del cs esos wallbang's no los hace nadie jaja siempre adapte tu estilo de juego te admiro.
esports is just getting started!
Respects bruh 🙏
so inspiring
legends indeed...
I did not expect n0thing to be quiet and reserved. I would think it would be Skadoodle.
I cant tell what type of emotion his dad was in when he told the camera he was on for 12 hours a day
We miss you Jordan!
I can imagine being a pro player, just the intensity of the tournaments, and knowing that the other team is just as nervous as you are.. Idk, just a cool thing to think about
every single player profile goes like
everthings going good
everythings going bad
everyhings going good again
I'm gonna miss Mr. Jordan N0thing Gilbert on Cloud 9 :(
n0thing, your not nothing, your everything!
is it just me is n0things voice is beautiful
To be a pro it takes time, passion, dedication wether ur winning or losing. Alot of people like the game and will learn from other players win things are going good, but in reality u have to learn from ur mistakes wether they are good or bad. Hopefully people read this and will think... My self im really really dedicated to csgo ive been playing the game for the past year and a half, and ive had to learn from my previous mistakes and in the end of this process it made me a way better player! :D
I cried so bad blood came out of my eyes.
R.I.P Jordan😔
When you're Norwegian and in an official Valve video of cs:go players see the flag
The second hand smoke from his dad got to n0thing
I love that Jordan got the same amazing smile, like his brother. Part of the family I suppose ^_^
Idk why, but I started crying in the middle of this video...
Watching all these player profiles, makes me think you need very understanding pearants to be able to become pro. I showed my pearents 1 clip of Kennys's many aces, and they thought it was 'sad to the limit, so many hours of good life wasted'
SHROUD player profile! :)
n0thing, two words: American Legend
1:56, that´s one happy dad.
From valve videos about cs players, i think that im not a professional player because i dont have an older brother who played cs before me (edward, olof, kenny, nothing) or i was not injured (device, olofm). lol
and the fact that you're actually not a professional
+JaAleksander hahahahahaha i love it. so fucking hilarious. me neither man
I remember when i was first starting to playing FPS's competitively over a decade ago, and honestly the ESEA community back then was so obnoxious and aggressive I had to use a voice changer to hide the fact i was a kid... Definitely a legend in the NA scene, and a hero to the kids who looked up to him at the time including myself.
Wow his dad is a fucking baller!
Well R.I.P. Jordan n0thing Gilbert
this video made gamers cry
1:57 sums up the whole video
When your in a competitive match and your parent calls you for dinner and they say to pause it.
What's the name of this beautiful song?
legend
0:55 haha Jordan misses The golf ball and he still looks where it went haha
These videos are awesome, for real, you go Jordan! You can still be the best.
legends
Love your voice
does anybody know the name of the song? sounds badass
+Kiewicz92 darude sandstorm ;)
+kyzoor yeah funny one :)

R.I.P. Jordan- 2017
MY FAVORITE PLAYER!! :)

Mango needs to be recruited :)
this guy is så good at cs:go
I quit my job to watch you guys do stuff you my biggest fan
My email is irule101btwcool@gmail.com
hacked
yeah right
love how his dad know what he playing
I showed my mom this and told her "This is who I'm going to be when I'm older"
I wish I had parents that understood my gaming :'(
This is so inspiring how video games can join people and and
make you famous but the fans start to
pressure, but there is always hope and that
is what motivates us day by day to live and
love are family and children. This video has
showed me how important is to work in a
team and it would be an honor be part of
you guys.
I would like to have a Vive for free 👍 👍 👍
Me and my family would in joy it very much!
Remember try and try and try. No matter how much hours you spent in it just do not give up...
his parents really helped him go big very lucky man
my life is scarily similar to his
me next big pro player confirmed
My oldest bro wanted me to play chess and become famous, that ended as quickly as it begun. My next oldest bro wanted me to play golden eye on the Nintendo 64 that worked for a bit but ended quickly. My youngest brother who is still older than me wanted me to play team fortress 2 that happened for about a year, untill i found counter strike, and thats where i belong
Is c9 ur first pro team? Did they find you or did you reach out to them to join?
i love you bro
