She is extremely strong mentally and physically WOW this is crazy
🤨 💭
Hmmm Oooh lord🤦♂️!…
One thing I’ve learned when I was in military, never start strong in the 2 miles track field🏃♂️. You’ll run out of gas quickly. That how I was able to finish to cross the finish line in 12min…
Well she did get an injury and had to skip this year's WC's, unfortunately.
How wholesome the 2nd place went straight to McLaughlin to compliment her for winning, thats true sportmanship
Dalilah and syd have raced for years. Great rivalry. Covid and age caught dalilah sadly
@@Hensley_Jbalways love comments like yours. as a competitor in my earlier youth the only thing I ever cared about in competiton was my opponent
Just incredible! If anyone wonders the time she ran was 51.90 seconds and this was 400 Meters Hurdles at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Track & Field on June 27, 2021 in Eugene, Ore.
She has since broken that record and the current WR is 50.68 seconds 🤯🤯
Don't you get a reward for every world record?I heard that bolt used to lower it by a small amount each race on purpose lol.
@@crazyjay6331I’ve heard the same thing about Usain but haven’t fact checked it so don’t know if it’s true. But nice for them if it is I guess ☺️
@@stofjes4204 I can’t see that’s true. The fastest Femke has run 400m hurdle is 51.45 (which is crazy fast) but Sydney has done it in 50.68. I believe Femke has the European record in 400m hurdle whilst Sydney holds the world record still :)
I do believe Femke broke the world record just a month ago though for 400m indoor at 49.17, but that’s without the hurdles ☺️
Her stride at the end was just beautiful
the way i would’ve looked like a whale flopping onto shore and she looks like that😭
Damn that gave me goosebumbs. She doesn’t even look like digging through her strides
@@omgurheadsgone yea on hurdles dawg I got the exclusive leak and uploaded it to Worldstar
@@pIayingwithmahwiiwhen you dig your toes more as they contact the ground to almost try to propel yourself off them vs just running casually which they’re so fast and skilled it looks like they’re jogging really really fast.
I’m always shocked how smooth world class runners look. She didn’t even make a face. Just totally relaxed the whole time. It’s incredible.
Have you ever noticed that these mixed players and runners that are setting records or doing well. Are all Mixed race people. Their fathers are ALL black fathers(Majority of them African American and one Black man from the U.K.) these people are Steph curry, Aaron Gordon, Zach Lavine, Sydney McLaughlin, Lamont Marcell Jacobs, Blake griffen, Jeremy Sochan, Louie Hinchliffe and many many more.
It's safe to say, that these mixed race people hold the genes of their fathers whom are black men of Yasharal whenever you see a mixed race person who performing at the level or better than an African American or U.K. or jamaican Diaspora man black man. Then understand That it is because the people(Their fathers) are the true chosen people of the scriptures and the The most High Yahuah.
They would not be able to perform at these competive levels if it were not for their fathers. So, next time you see a mixed person competing at a level along with these fast, highly athletic people. Look into their backgrounds. Guys like jayson Tatum. Ben simmons, Klay Thompson, Steve Smith that played for the Carolina Panthers, The Ball Brothers, kyle kuzma, Trae young.
Again. Look at where their success is coming from. Look at who are their fathers.
African Americans are literally giving away their strength to the other nations rather than keeping it in their own race.
This is not about racism or hate or who you love it's about truth and facts.
Marcell jacobs, father is African American and born in Texas. He's not European.
i was in that stadium watching that record set, i remember the volume in the stadium and the chills watching her glide through and seeing that time pop up. crazy
I saw someone doing a selfie 🤳 I thought it was to immortalise this moment with Sydney on the background plan 🗺️ 😅 ?????
Both of these gals are world class in every respect.
@@MiccaPhoneSays who. Muhammad had the same hair style when she broke the world record twice in 6 months (casual and ignorant wanna be fan). I cant understand the fixation on hair and style on the track. Answer or post when you have done someting significant.
@@distanceman8147 It is obvious from physics that long open hair increases air resistance and reduces speed as a comsequence. This does not preclude being able to run world records. Your disrespectful remark at the end of your comment is arrogant and despiteful.

I love how she congratulates her genuinely.
A WR and she looked so relaxed at the 200m mark? WOW!
Dang these women are amazing. They look like they're just doing a little light jog with some small hops in between. I couldn't even make it over one hurdle without putting myself in the hospital. So much hard work. Congratulations!
I love the respect and sportsmanship between the two of them at the end as well❤
Sydney even apologized to the girl who came in second place. Very humble.
Women who participate in track & field hit different.
What are you talking about. Sydney is a biological female, you can even find pictures of her as a young teenager online since she is only 24.
@@gabshadow2687Unfortunately it won't be long until trans will be breaking all the women's sports records unless more people actually start standing up to the current trend. Oh well, I guess so few people care about women's sport it'll all become trans sport eventually anyway.😅

wow! beautiful strides. she being modest beating a world record. love the sportsmanship congratulatory gesture at the end!
What's crazy is she doesn't even look like she's running that fast. That's how smooth she runs!
Oh my goodness! She is so beautiful to watch. She floats like a butterfly!!! Absolutely effortless and incredibly talented!!!

That was a beautifully run race. She kept her form and stride and ran her race to a new record effortlessly. They were focused on the world champion and the others. Only mentioned her briefly. I love an underdog…she. did that with ease👑👏🏽
“Sidney’s time is *now* ” Loved that bit from the commentators!!
She didn’t run around for show or flaunt her victory class is bred into by great parents and people around her… congratulations my lady
KenG826, No one have ever started a victory lap immediately after winning a 400M.
It has nothing to do with her parents, but the fatigue factor.
@@humanforotherhumanst4619 got a lot of work to do get back to top level, I race for the marines but only against other armed forces.✌️✌️
Sydney, Dalilah and Femke - greatest generation of this discipline ❤
Sydney is awesome. I met her and her husband, and they were very gracious.
"First woman ever" Those words make me beam with pride. Incredible showing!
The more calm you are and slower you get during the run, you’ll pass the one that is rushing and not slowing down, at all times too
You are a champion girl❤❤more records to come
She ran effortlessly... And she was so humble at the end!!
So elegant, so smooth. More like a model on a runway❤
She ran so effortlessly and looked do poised 💛💛
She was just doing her own thing

My favorite runner. She runs so good and makes it look easy.
Dalilah and Sydney have advanced this event so much!
She is gorgeous!
What a gazelle! Extraordinary, and as an intermediate hurdler from decades ago who lives in Eugene, I’ve seen them all. Sydney is incredible!
And she gives all thanks to Jesus!
All of these young ladies are fabulous runners. I cannot wait to see the lineup for Paris 2024.
Number 7 gased her self out of the win, you can tell Sydney is a pro and will be the best EVER 😊😊😊
The first words out of her mouth were "good job" to a fellow competitor. What an admirable athlete ❤
She made it look effortless, striding like a Boss. Great work Miss McLaughlin, Congratulations!!

The humbleness at the end of not even trying and then realizing she just broke a world record. She amazed herself among everyone else too ❤
Man she was making those hurdles look easy.. congrats!
We had a large tree in our garden which was overgrown by the neighbours ivy. I detangled it last year and found a bird box that the previous owner left behind. I left it on the tree as a momento. As we head into spring we noticed tiny birds coming in and out of the box. Literally me and the kids were in awe. Small wins. Thanks again Matt and community

Very smooth 👌
She made it look smooth but the race is very exhausting. She had maybe 5% left in the tank, could've hit the finishing line by a tenth, faster.
No I’m sure she was trying lol but she definitely makes it look effortless
