Inoue's orbital bone was broken in the second round and he saw double for the rest of the fight. You can see him cover his messed up eye before engagements, a trick he learned from watching footage of Donaire's past bouts. Despite such a terrible injury that would make most fighters quit, Inoue still won this fight 9-3 with a knockdown that honestly should have been a knockout. Great fight, though. Certainly earned its Fight of the Year award in 2019.
