Wow. And then we take all that elaborate process and labour and smash the battery into the ground. Thanks for the great vid.
@Young Tang wtf is wrong with you? ever learned about south american history? thats why some of them are slum an corrupted. has nothing to do with the people themselves. The US is full of corruption itself, but its just masterminded by the finance, industry and politics and it's not that obvious as in other countries.
I've worked in factories before but never got fed like that! When I think of Chinese factories I always picture a sweatshop in some dingy building. Very interesting to see an actual factory! Great video.
This factory looks better than the auto parts factory i worked in for a short time in the US. and that one actually was a sweat shop. no ac and hot as hell in summer (up to 90F heat). i left because it was a depressing environment. working 12hr a day for 5-7 days a week in 90F heat fk that nonsense. i was so tired i'd fall asleep working all the time. I'm not going to spend my life working like a horse being whipped till they drop then whipped again till they get back up.. how could anyone enjoy a life like that?
I only got to work 5 days a week because i was such a quick worker i was the backbone of the whole line even though i was in the middle of it. No one can keep up with my production numbers and the line is suffering after i left. they're back on 12hr 7days and pretty far behind schedule. I just couldn't work like that anymore...
DarkShadowsX5 the thing is there always have to be someone to take this kind of jobs.
Now days, workers in factory like this can make around US$1000 a month, and that's pretty descent, more than a entry level white collar job in most Chinese cities. 10 years ago, they only get paid about $300 monthly.
Now more and more factories are moving to place like Vietnam, where people are willing to work for less than $200 a month.
There are federal regulations that mandate a good work environment. Working in heat is literally bad for your health. No matter how easy it is to legally get fired in your state, the federal laws means you can easily win a nice settlement if they fire you for complaining or refusing to work under those conditions.
I really enjoyed watching how our batteries are made. It’s amazing how many machines are needed and it all looks very complex. I was stoked to see that you were able to have a meal with the workers. Thanks for showing us this little snippet of China.
As always, very interesting stuff Alex
I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for this battery video. Alex, what an awesome job getting in there to show us how our batteries are made. Thank you, buddy!
That was fascinating the process from start to finish Thank you.
Thanks for this very interesting video... looks like a proper battery factory. I had good experience with Gens Ace Lipos...
You mean a battery factory..... because they make all sorts of batteries not just drone batteries. Cool video though. Its great that people get to see where products come from.
Mark Messina I was there to see drone batteries being made, but they make batteries for laptops, smart watches and a lot of other electronics
Just curious, is it the same mix/recipe for all their batteries? Or do they have 2 or 3?
C. Av the answer is in the room they didn’t let me tape. Every company has their secret formula and recipe. There are several grades of the raw material mainly lithium polymer. The more pure the better
Proud of Grepow, best battery supply ever in China and the world !
Over the years I’ve ordered allot of stuff from Shenzhen, China. Nice to see a small portion of the city.
shenzen is lovely city and not expensive at all compared to western city. You should make time to go there - catch train from HK to Lo Wu and go thru customs there. beware of touts that prey on westerner at lo wu, also pickpocket. Enjoy shenzen.
This is the most beautifully edited video I have seen. The way you integrated the drone scenes into it was awesome!
That was a great episode! Thank you so much for doing this. This is really a top factory, not just the batterys, the working process & clima aswell. Professionals.
After decades of being used as the manufacturer for the whole world, China might know a thing or two about manufacturing by now. I hear they are the best by far these days.
Massive thank you for those video like this. Man, I loves this video.
zeer mooi bedankt voor te mogen meegenieten prachtige kwaliteit
Really impressed with sanitized work environment and their qc. Great vid
That's some real factory life there! Great video!
The dog, i love it tho!! Lol!! Nice vid..so that's how the battery was made!!
Awesome video Alex! Very cool to see what goes into making our batteries!
Great vlog sir. I know some friends here in the United States who work for medical device assembly jobs and they get paid for about $14 to $15 an hour for no expeirence. Cheers from Minnesota!
That was super amazing, we take this things for granted for sure!
@@FlyersDistrict absolute respect for every single one of them! It's amazing to see how efficient they work in China!!
Thanks for this great insights :)
This is one of my favorite videos over ever watched. You're so informative, and I love your edits!! Subbed!
great video man, love seeing the processes behind the products that fuel our addiction
Deerfoot FPV thanks man! It’s a pleasure to make these videos and share them with all of you
Thanks for going through all of that for us to enjoy
cool i haven't seen the alternating stack of plates before, I've only seen the continuous roll type of cells
Wow a lot of work goes into making a battery thanks for the video!
I love these factory tours!!!
awesome factory
Nice!
After a hard days work, good food! 👍
raffy turc The food was really good and fresh, I couldn’t eat half if it because it was so much
😂😂😂🤚 ROBOT HITS WALL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥⚠️ THAT DONE IT FOR ME 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So glad I watched this !
That Is Frickin Incredible, I Now Have A New Found Admiration For Chinese Technologies & Li-Po Batteries! Thanks
Thanks for the tour!😍
Amazing factory tours!!! Thanks 👍
Great , thx for your work🤙🏻
That was awesome, gensace much respect
I have a few kinds of drones that might have batteries from there. You make it interesting and informative. Love the drone shots!
Great material being shared here and i learnt a lot. Thanks.
Great Video..I would love to have gone with you and watched that first hand.. China is an amazing country.. Hope you enjoyed every second.
That was really interesting!! Well done man! :P
Excellent video Alex!
Did you speak to them, about how they manufacture batteries for different brands/companies?
Project Bones They make batteries several devices. Even smart watches.
Wow, super interesting as all of your content. Abo and Like for sure. Maybe the real imagine come if you work for 5 years in such a factory... Chinese are for sure the next "Might" of the earth. I worked as an electrician in many germany companies like Bosch etc. But the combination of machines, manpower makes them hardly beaten.
Thanks for the awesome video,, I am always waiting this kind of videos,, please upload more
Always got a bad ass edit up your sleeve guy! 💪👽👍
刘班班, says so on the back of that guy's shirt. Almost sounds like wearing a nickname from the childhood all day long, lol. Anyway, I'm always surprised at how much access you guys have to all these factories here. I mean I've been living here for 4 years and I'm a native Chinese, but I have to break through the great firewall, log onto UA-cam and watch videos you guys made from my home country. Man I need to go out more. Probably dig through some contacts on my supply chain and ask if I can take a tour around their factories. I've never been curious enough to do so, perhaps because they just seem to show up in packs nearby and I've never wondered what's inside, lol.
It was a good and informative video. But how do they test the full battery pack?
Awesome video, thx to share!!
Really well done on the B-Roll editing to chill music :) Relaxing, interesting and enjoyable to watch!
The brands should put this as marketing. It really creates more value seeing how the entire process is made, it really created more value for me seeing all the hard work these people put into do this. Next time I buy a battery I will proudly even pay more for it seeing that the Chinese young people put so much into creating this complicated to create product. Thanks for your video
They eat better than our Mexican factories lol
badss ive been a tattu gensace dealer for long long time,,,great video man finally get to see the action
Nice video. I still don't know how those got made but again, nice vid.
OMG I loved that beautiful wing torsional bending sequence at 0:54
One wonder if they use a cobalt compound to mitigate the problems that high temperatures create shorting the battery life.... (May be that was the reason they don't allow you to film that first area..) most of those batteries that last 2, 3 and up to 4 years of service usually have an alloy to mitigate the rapid oxidation/electron migration that brick them in not time....
Gens ace and Tattu my favorite batteries!!
OUTSTANDING JOB ,thank you for sharing this .
That is so cool to see how the batteries are made. I was amazed at how much goes into making a lithium-polymer battery. Thanks for the video.
The drone propeller factory video is up on the channel. You'll love this even more. The Spry Drone project is here goo.gl/YduVNr Subscribe to get notified when the next video is up.
Keep it up man, great work! So many of us buy all this stuff from China with no concept of where it comes from or how it's made. SO SO SO cool. Thanks so much for what you do!
How do these trips come about? Do the companies invite you to China? Who pays airfare? What else do you do when you're in China?
Trekkin_FPV I explained what I was doing the China at the beginning of this video. I was working on a project called the Spry. Link is on the description
Nice thx for showing how its done, i allways wounder how they are made..
What a great video!! 😍 I love seeing behind the scenes, Thanks for sharing 👌👍
Amazing video,I guess you could say the presses is not fully automated, the Chinese have a lot of manual labor available,I’m surprised they even let you go in to those places with a camera.Great video.
Great video. Highly capable factory, wish we had such a thing here!
Gotta feel for the workers, such a tedious process. I would go mental.
great video, thanks i learned something
涨知识了!原来格普的厂那么强大😂
Thanks for the journey. Amazing!
What a cool video alex bru!!
Nice perspective alex,im going to be nicer to my lipos now!
dont respect and treat your lipo nicer.. if you abuse your lipo, you ll buy more lipo. they can get another order next year. :)
Very cool ... TY
Excellent how it’s made episode, can’t wait for the next one! I know it might not be as popular for all, but It would be interesting to see where the raw materials are sourced or created from. How far could you trace the raw material back to?
David, I want to make this video so bad! I'm actually looking into it and might make it happen.
Now this was an excellent report. China's factories have vastly improved their quality control and employee environmental systems.
Cool., Thanks for upload
WOWWW I am impressed with cleanliness, organization and efficiency, today I see that I spend part of my life travajando the shit factories, good video thankssss
5:40 the machine is bouncing to the beat..
like your video, I buy lots of stuff from China, Glad to see that factory, very impressive.
Wow! That is cool as... Thanks for the video.
Entertaining and informative, thank you
How to buy those cells direct from than with all FAA restrictions?
Great job. Congrats
Great video and editing!
I always wondered how they make those 60C cells that are only capable of 15C output.
Cool vid man...thanks..:)
cool vid! Iv'e been to China 2x's now. I go to visit the CF MOTO atv sxs factory for my job. China is quite a country! I go from Hangzhou to Shanghai. It's neat to see the "good, bad, and the ugly". The food you ate looks like nothing I ate when I was there.....I had some crazy weird stuff where some was good, and some was, um......not my thing! duck tongue, chicken feet, ox tail, lotsa stuff I wasn't even sure what I was eating. I just smiled and kept tasting the many diff foods on the big round serving tray that spun round the table. Looking forward to the next China trip. Keep the vids coming!
Thanks for sharing
I'm glad to see that even the Chinese robots get confused and lost!
Spent the summer watching robots in the uk getting confused.
... and this is a forklift ... I roared with laughter. Anyway, very interesting video. Thanks
now you know why they cost a lot , what im interested in is the grading of lipo , im assuming the best lipos go to china and the rest we buy in Europe ?
Amazed you could get ANY access to that battery factory. Well done
panther105 thanks!! It was fun
