The man dipped his toe in the house music pond and produced possibly one of the best house tech house tracks of all time. Speaks volumes about how talented this man is.
I wish Photek would do more material like this. It's a house track, yes, but it still contains that chilly paranoia that characterises his drum & bass material. It's a pretty unique combination IMO and one that deserves further exploration.

2022 April and still this is soo relevant, he made this track whilst tripping out after watching Space Odessey 2001 and produced an absolute masterpiece, this is a lethal weapon on the dancefloor/ home or headphones, listen with pure pleasure

The lyrics are taken from "Vedette", a dutch film produced by Miriam Kruishoop in 1998. The girl who "sings" it is called Marie Josè Jongerius, and she's dutch too... :)
