Layton is good, and has a great vice, but John Mcrea owns this role like no other. He's awkward, vulnerable, sweet, and shows so much growth as the story progresses. Leyton's Jamie feels more confident throughout. It's not a bad thing, but it changes the journey a bit. The movie Jamie lost me. He was very different in the role. He was more b!tchy and harder to like. The kid had the talent, I just didn't care for some of the character choices that were made.

I just want to remember the stage show, but at least those who were not able to see it live had a little taste of the show through the film, but regardless of their differences I’d see either of them live if the show came back without hesitations.

Why I saw Layton in a clip of 'Bad Education' 'Oh WOW!!!' a starter motor screamed for I never saw a gay man soo gorgeous as he, warm, kind, and sensitive. Right, lets put to bed my reference to said starter motor, when seeing for the first time Layton wearing make up, it was not fire works that exploded or champagne corks popped, NO!!!,it is the straining starter motor spinning life into a K Type Cummins Diesel, a very big lorry engine, freshly rebuilt. On Strictly Come Dancing my eyes were on Layton strutting his stuff on the dance floor wearing that gorgeous shimmering sequin cat suit, that set my pistons pounding, nineteen litres of Cummins Iron roared to life waking the dead, Holset turbo screaming. A gay man for over half a century, I did not know such gorgeousness existed.
@@victordunson719 personally when I saw him is what my opinion is based on. I saw him twice. His dancing was amazing so was his acting. I see him again in April so we will see then. I love Layton, I think he is amazing. He just isn’t as vocally as strong
