You spending much money doesn't mean people shouldn't criticize.Constructive criticism helps you to know your mistakes and help you for improvement.
My dear is not about Criticism, But rather having a right approach to talk on matters like this. Film Making Envolves a lot of Process, to the Extent that someone has been able to achieve such a project shouldn't give you the platform to make such comments.

You’re right, however, comparing quality of the post production on Lil Win’s movie to post production on Marvel’s Avengers movies is just bad faith criticism. It was unnecessary.
You don’t expect Lil Win to have the level of quality that Hollywood spends 200+ million dollars per movie on production alone. So that critique in particular wasn’t constructive. And I think that’s the crux of Lil Win’s issue with their trailer breakdown.
Not saying I’m on either side, but I do see where Lil Win is coming from, although he’s overdoing it with the threats and insults. I get it tho, he dey use the clout and attention on him right now to promote his movie so it’s just kenken kwa.

As always great job on this video. I will try to write down my points as concisely as possible. I watched the Sheldon reaction and there are points they made I agreed with. I also believe there should be an evolution of Ghanaian Movies. They are essentially products. You evolve your product or it dies of stagnation.
I have watched your videos for years and I see the evolution of your content. I enjoyed your old interview style content but that type of content with time would become cliche and redundant.
Now to the trailer. Movie studios release trailers all the time to gauge public interest for the product so they can make necessary changes in their final cuts. There are even times where they have a director’s cut or extended version they use as data points for future projects.
The first sonic movie that came out was heavily criticized when trailer came out. They fixed the issues and had a successful movie and even had a sequel. Movie studios sometimes release trailers 1 year in advance to build anticipation etc so they can put out the best product possible.
I didn’t even know about this movie till I saw it on UA-cam. Things like this makes it hard to support and elevate local projects especially when you genuinely want to see local projects succeed. I was initially intrigued to see what the movie was about and form my own judgement but the type energy around the product from the executive producer is rather draining.
As a first time producer, you may not get everything right but you should be a student of your craft and over time improve. It will serve him best to study industry best practices of successful projects and apply them. Money is factor yes but produce the best product possible with the resources at hand and leverage that to grow. Everyone has to start somewhere no matter how high or low. It is what you make of the opportunity that will make or break you.
You are right my brother....lilwin is looking at the expenses he made first of all to bring these actors, catering for their welfare and others and also with the production of the movie , he wants every one to applaud him for his efforts and to see the achievements and hence the least thing he expected was the critics from Sheldon and team and others...
That is why he is reacting like that and in my opinion I thing lilwin should learn how to take critics no matter the effort or the sacrifice..non of those will matter to the people if they dont like the output of what you are doing.

Please, that's not how reviews work. All over the world, reviewers criticise creative works publicly all the time. It's part of the improvement process. And the creators take the praise and the criticisms in good faith. It is only in Ghana that people will be taking offence to things like this.

Any business that doesn't come with criticism is either concluded as bad beyond improvement or perfect for the market. Any big brand you've ever heard of, thrived through judgement. Every business owner must learn to accept both criticism and praise. It helps you to cover the portholes. Unless you want to keep producing poor products or services, you can reject criticism. Big companies in America pay critics to judge their products/services. The critic puts himself in the position of a customer who's in need of such a product, therefore he praises and criticises the product base on what is lacking which needs to be added on it or what is complicated which can be chaged on it, or criticises malfunction issues or sometimes talks about what needs to be removed from the peoduct or service in order to satisfy a need.
We should still support him regardless. He needs to learn to accept criticism, he's too emotional and he avoids anything that comes to him as advice or correction. He needs to work on his ego. Aside that, let's support "A country called Ghana" ❤🎉🎉
