I’ve followed Aurora now for 7 years and it goes without saying that she has grown as an artist and is still evolving but the one thing that has never changed is her love of music and how much it means to her, music for her has never been topping any billboard charts it’s far deeper than that her lyrics are as her mother once told her a medicine for everyone it’s why she is so loved and adored by her fanbase from around the world for it moves emotions and has been a great help and healing for so many myself included,I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her live 4 times and at my age of 68 I’ve seen scores of artists and bands at concerts and many were amazing but in my humble opinion Aurora moved me emotionally like no other artist,at her concert a few weeks ago at the royal Albert Hall I’d never seen so many people in tears as she performed songs that touched so many souls and to think that she never wanted to be an artist until a very wise mother told her that your music can be a medicine for everyone, wise words indeed,❤️
Great to see you back with Aurora! This concert is so special. Cool coincidence that another channel also released a reaction to this concert today. You don't have to worry about Aurora sounding just like the album, because her performances are always different, not only from the album, but from each other. She has said that it would be boring to just recreate the original. Funny you mentioned her dancing around the mic cord. I used to always worry that she'd get tangled up in it, but I've never seen that happen. The closest I ever saw was seeing her shoes get dragged across the stage with it. Now she uses a cordless, so she's even more free to dance and move around the stage.
It's been a really long time since you two cuties made a reaction to Aurora. So much has happened since then and Aurora has made so many new and surprising videos that you have a lot to catch up on. Missed you...❤ But it's nice that you're back and that you've just chosen the gig for your come back. Probably one of the young Aurora's most enchanting performances. Nice reaction... god, I missed you😂
Aw. We really appreciate you! Getting to react to amazing music, and know that we are giving people happiness doing so is something we could never dream of! What a wonderful group of people we have happened upon! ❤️
Saw her in London at the Royal Albert Hall in October - first time I'd seen her live - absolutely incredible, still debating with myself if it's the best concert I've ever been to, but it's definitely one of them. Her voice is, if anything, even better now that it was when this concert was recorded; and she's assembled a group of musicians around her who match her ability and enthusiasm (no shade to anyone who went before, especially Magnus and Silja, who were absolutely fantastic). I'd recommend watching recordings of the RAH concert especially for The Seed (with organ!!) and Echo of My Shadow followed by The River (also with organ). The version of The River she did just had her and her musicians' voices and just the organ for accompaniment. It's just devastatingly beautiful. Also, any of the live versions of Invisible Wounds will leave you as a total crying mess - so, I totally recommend, but set aside some time when you don't mind people seeing you and thinking you're having a breakdown.
Thank you ❤🙏- so agree with you to. The incredible is that we are a old couple in western Norway ( Bergen, Auroras hometown 😉) 64 and 67 years old, and we- on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean have the same feeling and excitement about Aurora as you express. So place and again has no meaning, we experience the same thrill ❤❤❤. Stay safe ❤
@heidifarstadkvalheim4952 cheers to you both! We love hearing that people so far away can feel the waves exploding out of this beautiful art and person. It just shows how real it is. How powerful music can be. That's why we love it so much. P.s. we would love to visit Norway someday. Though I feel that if i go there, I will never want to leave! 😆
Glad to see you back! What a great performance to come back to. I don't remember what has been suggested, so no suggestions right now, will just let you work off the list. I agree, Aurora is the total package, she is untouchable IMO with all of her multi talents. Perhaps if you fed your stuff then they would stay put instead of wandering around 😋. Thanks and see you on the next Aurora.
Fun fact; Bjork was in the crowd. Silja Sol (sadly not with Aurora anymore) was at the management talking about her own music when she heard that they needed a backing vocal and keyboard player, so she offered to do it abd she was hired. The fun part is that she bluffed them, she could NOT play! So she had to start learning! 😂 (story told by Silja, translated and retold by memory)
Yes, and often it's repurposed clothes from thrift shops, as Aurora loves doing that. Same with jewelry, that Aurora often makes something new with, also from thrift shops.
if people react to the kexp concert, it gives me some extra endorphins. thanks for this. another good short concert: her at the honda stage. oh, and haircut only with pizza scissors with cheese on it, else it will never look like auroras. thanks for coming back.
Everytime I hear Queendom I'm transported back to the virtual concert where her love swept all the thousands of players/participants with her into the stars. It was heart breakingly beautiful. If any wants to play Sky: Children of the Light and experience the locked concert, let me know and I'll take you there. Stunning.
Awesome to see you guys back with Aurora🤗 The guitar player, Fredrik, is playing a fender squire 6 string bass👍 Absolutely looove this concert, and I love this hair era of hers (she cut it herself with a kitchen scissors)😍❤️ Her outfit looks a lot like something I would wear in the 80’s lol So what’s next? Nidarosdomen?🤞🤞🤞
We are glad to be back! We really love you guys and all the feedback and info we get! I thought it was a bass, but then I got confused 🤣 Always love to do aurora, so we will definitely visit her other live concerts anytime!
I really enjoyed your reaction. Although about comments about Runaway - it is not like she perform it always the same. I think she has different setup for this concert (including reverb effect). If you compare with even earlier performance of Runaway in Nobel Prize Concert you will see a difference of 2 live performances (second one is more like album version). BTW: it is also one of things I love in Aurora that her live performances - she make like a little different versions of the same song. Anyway it is great mini concert and I love it :). Thx for a reaction :).
There was a thought that Bjork was in the crowd, so it doesn't suprise me that she gave a great performance. At the time she cut her own hair (with her kitchen scissors), because she hated sitting in a barber chair. She was bothered by long hair so she cut it short, but she left two long pieces that she could braid. Most of these songs were from her second album, except for "Runaway" which was from her first album.
Nice to see you’re back! Great reaction to this fantastic Aurora concert! It never gets old, don’t know how many times I’ve watched it. Lots of Aurora stuff has happened, really recommend you to check out her collab with Bring me the horizon, specifically the live in Japan version of «Limousine». Also, good luck with any future movie projects!
Great to be back! Thanks for sticking around and showing support!. We did react to Limousine, but I would love to hear the Japan version! Also, thanks! I may try to update everyone on the movie stuff, especially if I can finally break into acting!.
She's kicking off a bit of a US tour right now. I'm seeing her in Chicago at the end of this month. Go see her live if she's nearby; you guys won't regret it.
Hi nice to see tou back Some recent videos that you might want to react to❤ The Dark Dresses lightly live at rosklide festival Invisible wounds live at tv askjenon The seed live at royal Albert hall( audio onlu)
Why she make it look easy? Firstly she is fantastic. But she also changing things all the time, "mistake" or not, she just do it with confidence so we cant tell. AND actually: she makes small mistakes all the time, that is what a human do. She has several times said that pitch perfect is not her priority, making the performance that gives out the message she wants is. Her "crying" sounds, wolf sounds and many other my not be "vocal correct", but it what she chose to do. She also forget lyrics, sometimes I wonder if she gladly do just to show the real humans are not perfect. Nobody is.

We did a lot of Indian stuff before upon request, and just wanted to diversify a bit. Great reaction! I was happy to see this in my feed today, it gave me an excuse to watch this amazing session again, thanks for that! 👍
So glad you enjoyed it! It feels so good to be back at it! And there couldn't be a better artist to be doing after all this time.

I'm going to see her next month in DC. I haven't been this excited for a concert in decades.

I am so jealous! She doesn't come to Texas. Probably for good reason. One more good reason for us to get the hell out of this state 🤣
How the hell does she jump around like that and sing perfectly.
Pure energy flowing out of every part of her body! 🥰

Thanks, I didn't know about this. I miss Silja, her contribution as a second voice was superb, even if Amalie (and Thea) now does a great job
The guitar is a six stringed bass, a squier bass VI
Aurora's sister is a fashion designer(or something like that) and makes clothes for her
27:00 😅
Right! Thank you!
Yes, and often it's repurposed clothes from thrift shops, as Aurora loves doing that. Same with jewelry, that Aurora often makes something new with, also from thrift shops.
@@Tarkus_ She is so f***ing cool, it blows my mind. I wish I would have known her 30 years ago.

She's so epic!
KEXP actually wrote on their website that Bjork was in attendance.

Exactly! Mistakes are beautiful, but you have to take them a d be positive for that to be. She does that wonderfully!
Yeee
Following up on your comment; singers who's live sound is consistently just like their albums are probably miming to a backing track ...

New artists, suggest: Paris Paloma (Aurora inspired), Suggest "So Human of You" by Shireen. How about some Florence and the Machine.
Ty for Paris Paloma, I didn't know her.
I'm pretty sure that the guitarist is playing a 6 string bass.
It is, or something inbetween.. Think it has some build in sound chip or filter. Which make a fat bass sound
Hi! Where have you been all the time? :)
What kind of necklace is she wearing?
React to Helvegen by Wardruna and Aurora, please it’s amazing
