What an exceptional machine. I would never have thought of marrying up Norton mechanical parts with a famous RN frame. But why not?! It really does you and your father proud.
Lovely built bike quality work well done that man, from Northern Ireland greatly appreciated ☘️☘️☘️👍👍👍mag wheels be my preferred choice for the wheels 😁😁😁
When I think 'Cafe Racer' this is what I envisage, not some of the factory built, or Americanised examples. Cafe' Racers are built by ''Blokes in Sheds''..originally by Brits......there is no denying this is a fine example.
Handsome machine and far better than the flexible, weak stock Commando frames.! Perhaps I should do that with my Miles frame instead of hassling with my Trident engine. Your father did a fine job.
You know when a Brit biker is devoted to his Norton Triumph etc when they turn off the fuel tap at every stop! So many bikes out there getting around with diluted engine oil after the old Amal carb float valve didn't seal properly.
Hi Gerald what an interesting machine. Does it have the Isolastic System in place in the Rob North frame? What a privilege to own such a bike. I am a Norton nut too. I have a 1972 750 Commando that in France. Click on my avatar if you would like to see what she is like. Cheers Nick
Hallo aus Deutschland. Was für ein tolles Motorrad.
Saluti Tommaso

Every cycle with a manual fuel valve should have it turned off when not running. Trust no needle and seat! :)
SOP back in the day.
