Oct 5 , 2022 state dept issued a "Do not travel " advisory , what did you expect.
Those travel advisory warnings are stupid and ridiculous. Check any random country. Netherlands - do not travel. Peru - do not travel. They aren’t valid. Chicago is more dangerous.

Hi! I understand I take a risk going to unstable regions-it’s partly why I wanted to evacuate myself. And since I’m already here, I also wanted to be able to tell the outside world what I’m seeing on the ground and give accurate information as much as possible

its a beautiful country, with the friendliest locals i lived there 2018-2022, and even during the revolution they were the kindness and most hospitable people ever

The city is big, so they don't want to reveal the exact location
It's a pretty big city, khartoom has a 1.5 million population. So long nothing connects it to a neighbourhood it is still a needle in a haystack.
