This gospel song was usually played every Sunday by my distance cousins Bro Thomas and his brother in the 80s even though i was a Muslim that time and a spinster it made me to desire to marry a Christian which God eventually did for me. I can sing this song word for word since then up till now. May God bless you Sir and I pray that we shall make heaven our home in Jesus Name.
JESUS , time went on , this Gospel always brings tears to my eyes , when way back to 27 years , we got so used to wake up by this song , that time I was Muslim I can say I get used to worshipping from this that song , if only I turn the clock back , time went on , God is real
Grew up with the song in the 80s when we were toddlers , there was man who will play the song very early in the morning of every Sunday to wake up the entire street. It got to stage that everyone on the street at the time became uses to the music and became our street anthem. . To us kids then , that was the only song on our street . Till date it still brings nostalgia and ministers. God bless you sir
I dedicate this song to the memories of my late father Chief Samuel Olaniyi Oyebola. Our household was blessed tremendously by this song late 70s. I could sing these songs from A-Z. Then it felt like song was made in Yemetu Ibadan.

"Moni baba kan" my engagement with this wonderful piece and classic gospel song occurred during my formative years in Kaduna in the early 80s. I was not fluent in Yoruba language but lived in the compound dominated by my Yoruba families from Kwara State. The likes of Isaac, Somolon, Abayomi, Mama Korede, Pa Adegoke, Kudi, Rasidat Jimoh, Taye and Kehinde. Finally, my special friend Bro Theophilus alias "Babawa". All at Irra Road, Kaduna. May Almighty continue to replenish your hearts with love. Isaac played this particular music every Sunday and Auntie Julie and Feyi would song along the music as it played and Isaac would dance to every melody...... I miss you all.
I am very compelled to say a few word in response to your comments. It seemed like you enjoyed these people as you mentioned their names one by one. I hope that you will see them again so that you can talk about the good old days in Nigeria, especially KADUNA. I used to live in Kaduna in the 80s too. It was wonderful. I am sending Love from Chicago.
The divine Grace of God will be your portions in Jesus name. You will never lack in your life as you upload this great music of God. Pastor Bisi Adeoye King. He was my friend's dad in the university. He passed on in 2015, and I attended his funeral service back then in Apata, Ibadan.
This music lightened my Subday morning when i was a little boy in late 70s and 80s, because hearing this classic music very early in the morning by 6am in our house means i would put on one of my best clothes, enjoying taken to church in a car and eat bread, tea and fried eggs. Then, during the children Sunday School,, they would give us Okin biscuits. All these things made our Sundays worthwhile experienced in those years.
