Try to think for a second, it even said it in the video, if there were kill cams or spectating available (after your whole team dies of course, after raid or something too so there is 0 chance of ghosting) then it would be easier to find out who is cheating, and more reports on the account = more cheaters banned. It also helps people to know whether they died legit or to a hacker.

I remember the encounter where many of us uninstalled Tarkov. We were playing shoreline, moving around the outside of the map, someone charged through the Resort, killed several players with grenade spam, and before they could have even looted a body that same person had run all the way to the map's swamp edge to headshot our lead man. We booked it, he chased us with what seemed like infinite stamina and omnipotence, through several sections of forest, over hills, through a village all the way to the coastline, where he finally caught up to our second guy and killed him. I was last, but took cover behind a berm. He had no line of sight to me, and despite my repositioning, he would put rounds directly on my location without me even peeking. This was back in 2019. Haven't gone back since. It's several times harder for me to even gain access to an auction house than it was in 2018-19. The only reason I played knowing cheating was rampant was because I could spend a few minutes on the auction house and make it back. It's a shame, the gunplay was honestly satisfying, and the game could've been so much better.
i swear xqc face cam is getting bigger and bigger each video i watch. Next video going to be the magical 1/4 of the screen
Allowing players to speed up their scav times and heal times by spending time spectating lobbies would be a super cool system. No rewards for reporting or anything, but only for time spent spectating so people don't spam report. Then there would be more eyes on players, making it harder to cheat and get away with it. Food for thought.

Every raid has atleast 1 cheater, its easy to test by hiding in random bushes or places no one would ever go and every raid they find you especially if you go in raid with something worth a bit of cash
That's false. First of all most cheaters are not this dumb. If every cheater looked for people in bushes, they'd get reported to infinity and get banned.
Even in goat's video, it is obvious that cheaters try to hide it as much as possible, interracting with players the fewest times possible, just trying to soak up all loot without being fought or seen so they don't get reported.
Also it's closer to 60% of raids having a cheater. so 1/1,8 raids has a cheater...on some servers...on some maps...if you're solo
@@Birdsickle That's not false. It's actually true. This was tested 4 years ago by a small Greek youtuber. He would hide in inconspicuous spots on multiple different maps (closets, big bushes, that sort of thing). He would test it by having absolutely nothing of value, and then he would take out 3+ bitcoin from his secure container and do the same thing. Whenever he took out his bitcoins from his secure container, it was like sharks drawn to blood. He only did a bit of testing, but from what he could 100% confirm, was that in 300 raids, 70% of them had at least one cheater. And he wouldn't say that every single time he got caught and died was by a cheater, he had more criteria than just being found and dying that had to be met. 4 years ago. 70% chance of AT LEAST 1 cheater. Multiple maps were tested. Multiple different server regions were tested. 300 raids. He also made mention of every single time he died to a definite cheater, they had a unique name. So he didn't run into ANY repeat offenders, unless they changed their in game name. Again, that's 210 raids out 300 that had 1 confirmed cheater. That's a massive problem. That's not a 4-5 percentile. We're talking well into the double digits here. And that's also excluding labs, you know, the map with the most confirmed cheaters, confirmed by cheaters themselves. An average of 4 cheaters are in every single labs raid, regardless of ToD and server region. That's straight up unhealthy for any game.
Yeah not true. Unless ur mad stacked cheaters ain't gonna rage on a dude in a bush in the middle of no where.

Also it's more like 80%+ of raids have a cheater not every single one but pretty close

I used to be a mod in minecraft, and I learned a lot about detecting cheaters and the cheats they use, This is really no different, Its literally like 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 people are cheaters, and this game is no different, That's why I stopped playing a lot of fps games, games like tarkov, hunt showdown, even some cs:go games all have cheaters very commonly,
most people think its not cheating if its not complete aimbot, but there are so many ways to cheat that give you such an advantage in the game, its insane.
x ray cheats, like the one in this video are the most common way to give yourself a huge advantage.
Absolutely. I stopped playing competitive pvp games a long time ago due to this, even 20 years ago when I was playing early versions of CS people were cheating. I'm more surprised lately by how many people are surprised at the number of cheaters in these games.
I played shooter games since I was a kid from 1.6 Era. I have probably put close to 10k hours in shooters. My aim got really good that I even competed in tournaments. I couldn't count how many times I have been called a hacker/cheater. I was suprised why, yes I was top 0.1 % of players in any shooter I took seriously but then I realized how many of "good" players actually cheated after there was mass banning waves in those games. I have quit shooters for the most for good 8 years.

With goats number saying any full lobby has 60% chance to have a cheater means 4% of the playerbase cheats on average on customs map
60% chance to have at least one. That's the key. The chance also increases depending what map you play. Labs averages 4 cheaters per raid. Yes, that's right - PER RAID. There is practically a 100% chance that there is at least 1 cheater per lab raid. Shoreline and Lighthouse have an 85% chance that there is AT LEAST 1 cheater in a raid. 4% of the player base isn't cheating; that number is far too low. I mean not too long ago, BSG bragged on social media that they banned 35% of their concurrent player base in a single ban-wave. That's slightly over 1/3 of the entire player base that was banned for cheating, IN A SINGLE BAN-WAVE. That's just absurd.
You have to be smoking crack if you even get more than 2-3 people per Labs raid if you queue 10 matches back to back@@mikerak6283
someone make a game where "cheating mechanics" and like seeing through walls are already part of the game so players are not incentivized to cheat and you can actually make a good product and game off of that
You have that in space tarkov(the cycle). There is a chance to roll a perk on your helmet while forging which gives you like a thermal hunter vision and you see people through walls up to 60m i think.
There was a Playstation game where you put on a visor with an energy bar that gave you walls, blacklight retribution. Pretty cool game, f2p, got shuttered after a few years.
The problem with that is then it makes it easier for a cheater to get away with it because you could hide behind the game mechanics and say it’s because of that. No matter what a game has there will always be someone cheating.

Man, I'm really curious what it's like in a reality where game cheaters never existed; would games be harder cuz the average skill level would need to be higher, or would it be even more dumbed down to compensate the trash players? or would there even be trash players if it was all truely equal without degen cheaters ruining everything?
it's real interesting to think about, but it's also equally sad that it'll never be possible anymore
it would probably be about the same as it is now with less frustrating encounters where you appear to die to bullshit. Only for the reality to be a cheater that was gunning for you.
The average skill would seemingly drop a little bit as the assistance of tools would be removed, taking away some of the "higher skill" players.
I don't feel like I ever see cheaters in tarkov, but maybe some of the really good players I've died to have been cheaters in reality. If cheaters didn't exist, the average skill level would drop, since a large amount of the best players would disappear leaving only the legit ones. Anyone who wasn't cheating would start performing better in comparison to before
If cheaters never existed we would most likely never had sick montage vids of 360 noscope and multikills in early CoD games... Also online games like Overwatch or CoD multiplayer would not be dead after release cuz people would enjoy playing at their rank trynna improve and game companies would had more money... we can still do that... all the game studios need are cheat hunters that will browse google every day and start taking down them cheat providers, sueing them and much more... then people would be scared to even develop cheats for said games if that ever happened... Overwatch had this team first 2 years before smurfs came into place and then they just gave up... even console cheating is easy nowdays thanks to gamepad emulators that will emulate your controller inputs and aim for you (for example Nadia)...

the wigle in the gaming community manly mean friendly
Let me break this down for any of you that dont understand this concept.
From a “player” perspective and for someone that loves the game, and enjoys the game. We want the “cheaters” to be removed immediately.
However in a “business” world that's not how this works.
Here is a simple business concept for you. You own a game, now you know 3-5 big sites have cheats for your game and that 20-40% of that player base is “cheaters” Now if you LET them cheat for a certain amount of “playtime” like LEVEL 20-40 or lets say 3-6 months.
You as a game owner KNOW a cheater will see the “PROFIT” of buying the game AND the cheat. Because it lasted for a decent period of time.
So take 100 cheaters. Now the game about 40$ so 40$ X 100 = 4.000 now do the bigger number,
10.000 X 40 = 40.000$ free profit.
IF you THINK that EA or Steam or any BIG company can't hire someone to download, cheat, and make an anticheat against their “public” cheats. You have lost the reality of game businesses and how it works.
This guy proved nothing, it has been like this in all games for over 15 years. And will continue to do so.
This is a fine business model when the anti cheat makes cheaters play only cheaters until ban, but I doubt the unbanned cheaters are being lobbied with only cheaters
Xqc plays tarkov...? I love that xqc's eeactions are pretty similar to i did

"why bother leaning" its because its like a secret handshake, or a wink to each other right in front of people who are oblivious. When you're in a "secret group" like that, its fun to do. its a way to say "we're the same" in front of other people who are clueless of anything even going on, if that makes sense. Its a very common concept in modern conspiracies about secret societs, and sht like that. the hand over the eye, 33, etc.
He means leaning to peek a corner when you're cheating. You are literally stupid for misunderstanding. The guy on woods WAS cheating, but didn't wiggle, he leaned around the corner. X was asking ''why even bother leaning'' as in why bother sweating game mechanics if you're cheating.
suprised there isnt a cheat that deactivates all cheats in the lobby lmao
For all people asking:
He met cheaters at minimum 60% of the times while doing 125 raids.
That is a fucking lot.
I wouldn't doubt BSG is allowing this because, in the end, it's more money in their pockets from all the extra copies of the game being sold. Pestily did some math in a recent video talking about this video and said something like "even if they buy the cheapest version of the game that could easily be up to 100k a day in extra sales".
Yeah that means by goats numbers that 4% of players cheat in tarkov
Not really. This is the equivalent of 4-5% of the game's playerbase being cheaters
this is not an abnormal metric fo a popular game, to some extent. When CS:GO came out, it had a cheater population of around 9% and it hovered on that level for ~4 years, untill valve implemented overwatch, 2FA and prime, which led to the cheater population goung down to around 5%, but between prime members, the population of cheaters went all the way down to 1-2%
Overall, tarkov has about 30% more cheaters than any regular FPS, while that could be chucked up to "dev team bad", i personally beleive it is more nuanced than that, tarkov is a game where cheating is actually profitable monetarily, thus cheaters try more and dedicate more attention towards hacking, rather than just selling it to script kiddies that rage hack for 2 days off of their mom's credit card and get banned.
It's definetely something that should get worked on more, ideally the cheaters going down in the low 3-2% would be great, but yeah by no means is this some earth shattering insane metric.
@@Birdsickle i cheated for about 4 weeks straight this wipe got banned ab 3 weeks ago personally his 60% is low. Theres at least 1 in almost every raid id say at least like 85%

Keep in mind not everyone blatantly cheats, there could just as easily be more that are cheating and hide the fact much better than others.
