Rest in peace Tim Russert. Great to see his son carrying on the legacy.

Joy was so sincere when, at the end, saying "It was really great to have you hear Luke" - I really felt that.

His father is one of those journalists that when you either hear their names or see their faces, you know you are gonna get good information. I remember seeing him on tv

Being from DC, Tim Russert was a household name in our house. His premature death was tragic. He would be so proud of his wife and son❤️

I was just out of grad school and bartending in the area, and he was always an intellect and a gentleman as a customer. This is a time when casual conversation was expected and encouraged.

I remember crying when i turned on my computer and saw Tim Russert suddenly passed away i was so in shock. Tim Russert was beyond a great interviewer. Its nice seeing Luke because it was just last week i was wondering what ever became of Luke.

I SO admired and adored Tim Russert. He was a must watch for me. I was crushed when he passed. Luke has his kind demeanor and ability to do critical thinking. Wish he'd picked up the mantle when his Dad passed.

The last part he said about lost loved ones telling us to live our lives.... THAT got me. 😢 Will be missing my Dad this Sunday & really needed to hear that.
Also Tim Russert was awesome... I remember him with the dry erase boards on election night. 😊

Mannnnnn I loved Tim Russert on Meet the Press. I faithfully watched him every Sunday. He was a fantastic journalist!!! It was so heartwarming when he talked about his Dad (Big Russ). It is also great to see his son Luke carrying on his Dad's legacy! ❤ So profound 'you don't have to move on but move forward'!

Definitely ordering this book! This interview really touched me. My mom passed the year after his father and I felt him when he said he ran from the grief! Bless you brother!

It’s interesting to me that crying is still regarded as weakness. You can be a “tough chick” and be open and vulnerable enough to cry when moved to do so.

Lol the hypocrisy. This show brought opinion based “journalism” front and center.
