Cliff this is Bill. thanks for all your videos. I just want to mention, to get to your relays, you need to take the seat off there is a upper bolt and lower bot that if you remove you can slide the fuse and relay box out from the side box. there is plenty of slack in your wiring harness. you would be actually removing the bracket that the fuse and relay box attach to. I just did it today. I thought also I would have to take my box lose. My seat was already off so I could see the upper bolt. Fast and easy.
Thank you. I just picked up a 1500 and wow are they different then the 1800. Thank you for the video. I'm waiting on my service manual to arrive but until then you have been a big help. Be safe.
I am about to purchase a 1997 GL1500 Aspencade, and I would like to see a video of the controls on the handle bars and what each one does. Thank you for the videos that I have already seen. They have helped me with my self-confidence so that I can do most of my own maintenance. Keep up the great work I really appreciate you. Ride long, Live long !
Clifford, your fuse cover has its bottom catch broken off. That's why you were able to swing out the bottom first. If the cover is intact you can't do that - you have to release the latch at the top by pressing down on it, then the top swings out and you can disengage the bottom catch and remove the cover.
Have enjoyed all of your videos - very helpful. As a result I have changed my spark plugs and air filter. Would you consider doing a video on how to change the headlight bulbs on a 1500? I have one high beam out, as well as both side lights (the ones left and right of the headlights). Thanks again for all your work to help us do our own maintenance. Rudi
I have a 98 GL1500 and I'm thinking about adding a fuse block and a couple accessories. Is it possible to simply add the fuse block to the pos/neg terminal on the bike's fuse block showed in this video without damaging the bike?
Great videos my gear intcater lights don't work anymore fuse box fuses are all good put new bulbs in and they still don't work? Thanks for the tip on the rear caliper and bleeding them, thanks a bunch
Hi Cliff, I have a shaky front end and while investigating I unplugged the turn signal signal cancel plug in the column. Any suggestions on how to reconnect it. It is in the middle of the tube. Thanks John
Hey cliff I was tinkering with my radio on my 93 1500 it was working when I wiggled wires then when I started it nothing but static and now it dont work at all any ideas?
I have a 94 honda wing se. I'm having a problem with no low beam headlight. I've checked the bulbs they are good the plug it self is good fuses are good also the dimmer switch I think ok apart it looks new inside. When switched to high beam high beam works. Hard to find this problem. Honda dealership says they won't touch the bike due to age. Can you help. Also I use to have a horn that also does not work now. Need guidance please
I inherited a Goldwing from my Uncle that just passed. The battery was dead. As soon as I connected the new battery I noticed some track lights that came on. I am not finding a switch to turn them off. Not sure if these are original equipment or aftermarket. Any instruction would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like aftermarket. Follow the wires, see where they go. Usually stuff like this, there is a switch, unless its been directly hooked to the fuse block.
I like your videos. I drove my bike on its first ride of the season and my tape deck no longer recognizes that there is a tape inside. I still get the radio. Im sure there is something in the cassette that know when you put a tape inside. Any thoughts ?

Hey dude! I have a question. Where can I find the relay for the reverse? I'm having trouble with it!
Thanks for the videos! Appreciate it!
Thank,,You,,Clifford
G,Day Clifford,
What size tyers are you using when you are using car tyers ? Love your vids very informative thanks Aussie Dave.
I believe people are using 175/60R16. Although you might want to check into that a little more.
My gauges and reverse and running lights went out which fuse or relay is that

sounds like the wire harness may be bad. they are broken into 3 sections. Check plugs for burned spots

Thanks Clifford
I’m Bill Groel I have a 1995 Aspencad
To get to the relays you just remove the 2 bolts they are 6mm that hold the fuse panel is ..
i know this is late but do you have a video or any info on a "Dogbone" fuse by the battery?
Nickolas Kelly I believe it's a fuse clip.
okay my 1994 interstate wont get power, all the fuses are fine and i have a new battery but im getting nothing. any idea?
Nickolas Kelly all the lights come on when you turn the key?
no, nothing i moved my new battery to my old xj and it works, want to chat about this in the discussion chat so we dont blow up your comment thread?
Nickolas Kelly sure
Hey! How would I know if the fuse is bad?
Joseph Mosley you can used a light tester, or check the fuse itself. The piece in the middle will be broken.
I have a 87 honda goldwing aspencade I can't find the fuse box even after watching your video
I got a 1998 goldwing 1500 for some reason all the lights in the back work but nothing in the front work the front lights don't work the horn don't work nothing in the front work the turn signals in the front don't work they work in the back but they don't work in the front
I'm looking for the main fuse that's not in the fuse box.
My brake light not working hi and low Ben light not working
It is fuses under the other box not just relays, guy charged me 90$ to go in there and change a fuse the fuse to the radio is the bottom you can pull it open and fish it out..
I need a diagram of the fuse box for a 1984, 1200, Goldwing motorcycle
most likely going have to buy a manual or search the web
I got to take the relays off by just loosening up the saddle bag not taking the bag all the way off
So you didn't open it to answer the question I had, I like you videos but this one was cut short and I needed to see where the blue one goes
Yeah you forgot about something else too back there by the on the saddlebag that plastic piece that's under the lights you got two screws there and those two metal clips to take off better go back and read
