They don’t have music like this no more. 1980’s and 1990’s were the GREATEST TIMES to grow up in. Miss those times. I was so young and innocent back then. Wow. Time sure does fly by so so quick. One thing I've learned in life is you live,learn and grow and not all your decision making is going to be the right or wrong decision you just have to go with the flow and let it ride rob and fab got caught up in a decision they had to make to make being so young and they did what was best for them at the time needing to pay bills and survive you can't knock them for that they got lured in by the producer and just couldn't turn back. I am an artist and I did a drawing I'd rib and fab that I wish I could give to fab. These guys cared about one another a bond that can't be broken. They did magical things back then with thier style, flamboyant dress,and stage presence. They don't have to be great singers they are great performers.they dance better than John Travolta. All and all

Fake singing or not, these guys were great performers. They had stage presence and charisma. Personally, I loved the music on this album, and I thought they did a great job of presenting it, even if they weren't the real singers.

It doesn't matter if they sang, they performed as well as anyone, if the producer had just spent 6 months giving them vocal training, they could have sang all their hits, but he took a shortcut. I still like Milli Vanilli regardless of the "scandal." They were young and vulnerable prey for a record producer who promised them the world but left them high and dry, after throwing them to the wolves. It's a shame that the one singer took his life because of it.
Fab did not take his life, that was just overdose, which happens if your addiction gets the best of you. It was ruled accidental.
I still play this cd from time to time. Fake or not this music is great.

They are absolutely wonderful.
This music 100% transports me back to my childhood. No other music does it quite like Milli Vanilli. It was Pop music, but still managed to stand above and beyond just about all other Pop music at the time. The recipe for the creation of this duo had magic behind it. The guys behind the group were literal masterminds when it came to what people wanted, while bringing something completely fresh and new. Nothing like it, nothing will ever be like it.

What a awesome song..and such a great album..I never cared once it came out that Rob and fab didn't actually record the music.. such a shame that a masterpiece of early electronica/ club music has been disregarded because of the decisions made by management, record executives and people who only cared about making money
Exactly, but then when the media where shown them singing in the studio in 1990 they sounded alright to me so what was the problem. I mean the only thing tat prob bothered Frank was that Rob had a rather thick German accent but who cares!

I didn't realise the enormity of the scandal with the lip syncing and personal toll it took on Fab and especially Rob. 😢
Yeah, it wasn't right what they did, but remember, they were both very young, good-looking, and took the chance at the fame and fortune offered to them. For that, I can't blame them, given their circumstances. They were taken advantage of, which is clear.

Who cares if they weren't singing? It's not like they were stealing from anyone. They were still artists in their own way. The music is great and their performances are so fun and they are so iconic in appearance and performance.

I was literally minding my own business and all of a sudden this song came to my head. I have no clue why or why triggered it. But now I know it won’t leave my head for a week. (I thank my father for his great taste in music and I will make sure my kids know these men and other oldies I am obsessed with)

Para mí ellos son lo mejor que tuvo el grupo sin ellos nada hubieran logrado, bailan y se expresan muy bien no veo ningún fraude porque eran muy talentosos creo que los juzgaron demasiado, sin ellos no existe mili vanili, eran unos grandes artistas.

El verdadero fraude fue por parte del desalmado del productor q lo único q logró fué ensuciar la reputación de estos dos bailarines q le hicieron ganar mucho dinero. Injusto.

La idea que se tiene de lo que es arte y también de lo que es y hace un artistas va cambiando a medida que pasa el tiempo, es más, en un determinado periodo te vas a encontrar con distintas visiones de que es o que hace realmente una persona para ser artista, por lo que siempre va a existir discordancia respecto a estos temas. En mi caso, y puede ser el de muchas personas que al escuchar el nombre o una canción de Milli Vanilli siempre se nos va a venir la mente Rob y Fab, nadie mas (no el baterista, bajista, guitarrista, tecladista o cantantes originales), ellos fueron y serán por siempre, Milli Vanilli.
Amen!, demasiado injusto que la gente los hundiera al olvido sólo por ser la imagen y no cantar, tenían mucha carisma, un show no es sólo limitarse a pararse en un escenario y cantar, tienes que motivar al público y ellos lo sabían hacer con sus bailes.

Love it! It was my absolute favorite song by them, followed by I'm Gonna Miss You and the others! Rob and Fab may not have sung on the tracks but they provided the visuals for the music and that was also extremely important to the success of the franchise.
