    These people are just going by their own standards and not that of the scripture. A short lived victory for the here and now all because they refuse to be convicted.

    These are the Thyatira churches of Revelation chapter 3. The ones with the Jezebels in it, misleading the flock with a false doctrine of demons.

    It sounds exactly as ridiculous as the stuff said by any other church, some churches have just been saying their stuff longer so we're used to it. And everything she's saying is consistent with common Christian beliefs, just said with word choices intended to be provocative and challenge fundamentalist ideas. Jesus did have two dads according to Christianity, his biological father, God, and the man who raised him, Joseph. Many modern Christians don't even know what it would mean for an omnipresent entity composed of three personas to have a strict singular gender, and in the bible God does refer themselves with plural pronouns "Let us create man in our image", though these are first person rather than third person, and they are actually just a hold over from Judaisms polytheistic origins, but that last part isn't relevant to modern believers.

      the verse you’re referring to is talking about the Holy Trinity as one when it refers to “ours”, not God Himself 😊

      @nadiaansselin6581 I'm not here to dictate how you interpret your religion. I'm just saying that this church's interpretations fall within the distribution of modern denominations.

      @@nadiaansselin6581 "Within the distribution of modern denominations" means you would find just as many points of disagreement with just about any Christian Church besides your own if you looked hard enough. You're just not motivated to go look through the doctrine of other churches most of the time, because most of the time churches aren't defending people's civil rights.

    You can't imagine gods however you wish since none exist and never have existed. You can use your own little fantasies.

    shes right on both main messages. god is non binary, a genderless being. and jesus did have two dads (and a mother i might add). his "biological" father joseph, and god. only considered a father because of him being a he, which in itself was because of the limits of language at the time

    • @JohnMcGlothlin-l7j
      @JohnMcGlothlin-l7j 25 днів тому

      True enough except that many Christians believe Jesus to have been god. If so, then he only had one father but multiple personalities (for a few years). If one is in the Catholic sphere then Joseph wasn't the biological father so Jesus only had two personalities. That seems binary to me.
      Just another example of how religion is divisive and manipulated to satisfy a particular desire of some splinter group (e.g. the Methodists are at this moment dividing over the very issue noted in the video).

      @@JohnMcGlothlin-l7j Jesus is absolutely God, that is one of the central pillars of Christianity. Jesus clearly calls himself God many times, including calling himself "I Am" (God's name). While opinions vary among Christians, there are a few things about God that every Christian must believe in order to be a Christian. God is one. God is all powerful and the only god. Jesus is God. A secondary characteristic of God is that the Holy Spirit, God the Father, and Jesus are all persons. Some Christians believe that God the Father and the Holy Spirit are also Jesus, some believe that all three are together a single God in the Trinity. God has no gender, but Jesus was male when God became a human for 30 something years. Hence, their statement about God being none-binary is correct because God was not created and isn't part of a species, having no sexual attraction or means to reproduce with anything. Jesus did, in a way, have two dads. It is absolutely apparent from the bible that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus. Joseph took the familial role of Jesus father because he was Mary's wife, but he wasn't Jesus' biological father. Jesus referred to God the Father as his father (hence why God the Father is called God the Father), so Jesus did have two father figures, but they weren't gay. Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit remain distinct yet one God even after Jesus ascended to heaven once again. Jesus was tempted in every way common to man, so he would have been tempted to lust after both men and women. However, he was only a man as a human, it once again isn't part of his nature. Non-binary may not be the perfect term, but God is definately non-sexual although he is referred to as a he in scripture and tends to describe himself as a husband with the church/israelites as his wife.

      That is not the point of that creed. The point of that blasphemous creed is to falsely imply that Jesus was the son of two gay men.

    Very good Samuel. Now, lets see what the Apostle Paul has to say. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
    English Standard Version
    9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 3 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. ESV

      Paul was explicitly clear men lying with men was sin. Women lying with woman was sin. If your angry because you are one repent and turn to Christ. If your a supporter of these reprobates also repent. You can choose this world or Christ. Not both.
