This is really a masterpiece, I think it's expressing poverty,greed, hopelessness, helplessness, lack of human concern and compassion, anybody else feel this way about it?

I've been reading Music is the Drug for 2 months. I'm not usually a slow reader, but I'm really taking my time so I can enjoy it for as long as possible. I've just been reading about the Black Eyed Man period. It's such a great, great album. I've also just been on discogs buying a few Black Eyed Man releases. A Horse in the Country, Oregon Hill, This Street and The Last Spike are among my all time favourite Junkies songs. There isn't an ordinary track on the album. Well it could be argued no Cowboy Junkies album contains an ordinary track, but Black Eyed Man is just pure excellence. Thanks Mike, Margo, Alan and Pete. You guys are freakn' awesome. :)
