    Hi, you mentioned you don’t like to use aluminum food when he rice is steaming, why is that? I use it all the time so I’m curious

    • @dorannette26

      I do not use aluminum because, aluminum leaching into the food. The hotter the food is the more aluminum goes into it. I only use aluminum foil to wrap cold foods. Aluminum interferes with the digestion of calcium, phosphorus, and fluoride, and can even result in osteoporosis. It also damages the liver, and impairs the kidneys.

    What temperature do you let the rice cook at and how long?

    • @dorannette26
      @dorannette26  4 роки тому

      I cooked it on #2 for about 20 minutes. Keep in mind that every stove temperature is different. My number 2 and 20 minutes cooking time maybe different from yours!

      Serge Juste ....lol, you can feel it? Well, Based on my culinary background, the frozen veggies still maintain it’s shape and texture. Thanks again for commenting!

      Serge Juste ...I agree! If you use the mixed veggie in the can, it would be saggy but the frozen ones holds up well. Have a beautiful day hun.
