How a Widow in a Wheelchair Regained Her Backyard Beauty
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 жов 2024
- This amazing backyard was a place where she and her husband could relax and share memories together. Now that he has passed and she is in a wheelchair, no one is there to take care of it and over the past couple of years it has gotten away from her. As you watch you will see the love that went into making this backyard their shared beloved space. There is even a hidden grave that we reveal. Sit back and relax as we help this widow reclaim her beautiful backyard view.

If everyone did one random act of kindness every day for one person, the world would be a much better place. God bless this man ❤️
Hi Nina. Thank you so much. I agree, it would be awesome to see wouldn’t it? Many people these days are so swamped with responsibilities it’s hard to do stuff like this. I struggle to afford doing this but am hoping to be able to just offer free services in the future and create awesome content for those that watch. I hate charging people money even though my family needs it just like everyone. There’s just something different about doing service for others, ya know?
@@yardrescue My Mom taught us, back in the 60s , to do one random act of kindness everyday. It was an awesome way to grow up 😊

Bless you more..
you understand the situation who are in need of help.
You nailed it.
God Bless you helping spruce her yard up for her to maybe go out in her wheelchair and see how beautiful it is and to enjoy it
You are an Ace with that weed whacker. Thanks for fixing her fence. Great job!!!!!
How nice of you to help this Lady with her yard work since she was unable to.
Beautiful yard, beautiful job. I love that you don't just chop bushes into non existence. They took years to mature and it's nice to see someone that cares about them to just clean up. I'm hoping someone would rebuild her ramp in back so she can get into her yard.
I think her ramp in the back is still useful but I’m not sure if she gets taken outside much. Hopefully she does now.
@@yardrescue I saw some rot in it, needs redone. Her caregiver could easily take her outside if she wanted too.
I agree. I was totally dismayed to see one UA-camr garden guy (not these), totally decimate a 30 year old rose "tree", instead of just pruning it down. It may have even been a cultivar one can rarely find these days...so sad.
@@Kayenne54 I see a lot of it, I'm wishing they would take a course on trimming and shaping trees and bushes.
@@lornahardin4563 There's a great business idea, right there 🙂
She will really appreciate all the hard work your doing on her yard .
So sad we have to grow old and die. I’m sure the sound of you working in the yard was music to her ears. This yard is too much for her to maintain. Thank you for helping her out
Well done Jon! That’s a beautiful park like setting. I’m so glad you brought it back to life. I too am in a wheelchair at 70 and if someone had done that for me I’d still be crying happy tears of joy. 😂
Awwww thank you. Yeah I would be appreciative as well for doing something I physically could not.
what a nice yard and you made it look so lovely. thank you for doing that for her.
Now that was a garden worth restoring!
Looks amazing Jon! I didn’t see and wheelchair ramps anywhere. Maybe you can find a volunteer or her church to put in ramps for her so she can enjoy her yard. Just an idea! I love that fountain! Wished it worked. That would be pretty to listen to
Hi Melinda! Her ramp is in the back by the short Japanese maple and walkway. I didn’t show it much but it’s there. I just hope it can be used now. I loved the fountain too. Have a wonderful day! 😊
And if there’s someone in the area who has a power washing business who could make those walkways, etc safer??
Great job!!! 👏🏼👏🏼It was hard work but this beautiful yard is recovered! I hope the caregiver will bring the lady outside so she can e joy it!🙏🏼🙏🏼☺️🙏🏼
I hope so too!
Awesome job bringing this awesome garden back to life!
Thanks!
I didn't fall over because of boredom, I was drunk. 😉 Thanks for the video.
Bwahahahahhaha 😂 🤣
Me trying to put my youngest kiddo (1 y/o) to bed and just reading comments and this one had me laughing I was afraid of waking the baby!
You are the best, you care every detail and put your heart to your job.
Thank you Tam
Boy, that was a lot of hard work! I'm sure it is greatly appreciated..
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉A lot of hard work 💪🔥💪💪💪💪🔥💪💪💪🔥💪💪😢😢😢it was a magnificent transformation for her and you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
a lot of love went into the design ,you should be very proud of the work you did in bringing it back to life .I hope the lady gets the opportunity for someone to take her out to enjoy it
Awesome job ❤
Wonderful job on this yard. I can't believe that you did all this yard without mowing.i hope that the lady is able to go outside and enjoy the beauty of her yard.😊
Thank you. I didn’t mow cus of how think it was and I thought it would turn out nicer if I am just whacked it down low. I think it turned out better this way. Nice clean look.
Thank you so much. I hope she does too. Her health isn’t doing so good apparently, (just spoke to her today), so not sure what the future holds.
@@yardrescue at least you've given her a good view and peace of mind
What a difference you have made to the garden ,didn’t realise it was so big, all the paths showing, now the lady hopefully will be able to get around it in her wheelchair. Great job. ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi Pauline from Wiltshire. Sounds like such a peaceful place like the Shire 😋
Hello, Wiltshire is near so many lovely places like the Cotswolds Stonehenge and many more, compensates for the weather xx
You have a fantastic transformation well done you have done a lot of very hard work ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😊
Just started to watch your videos great job 👏 ❤😂🎉
Also what area are you from regards ray
Hey Ray, thanks for watching. I’m in Oregon. 👍😊
GOOD job
Looks fantastic 😊
You did really well for this lady❤
New subscriber here-Chris from Cheyenne. Great job, Jon! Nice to see pruning skills, especially on the front yard of this property. The back required a bit more scorched earth policy. I look forward to watching more.
Hi Chris! Thank you, you are kind. I appreciate the support. Have a great day!
What an amazing difference. Well done.
Wow, what a nightmare of a yard!! I could not tell where it began and ended. It just kept going on and on! What a job!!
New subscriber here...thanks for making everything so relaxing including your voice. I have a procedure this afternoon and it helps so much! I had kidney stones removed but they put stents in and the last one finally comes out today. Thanks again for helping me be less anxious!😊
Hey, thank you for that. I hope your procedure went well and you are on the mend quickly.
I’ve always been a little ashamed of my voice because it is so soft. I’m never able to grab the attention of others unless I talk louder, which I dislike a lot, so thank you again for your kind words.
@yardrescue Oh goodness, no- your pitch and tone is quite pleasant and draws it's own attention.
Sure some guys bellow, roar, or just have a deep tone- but outside of rowdy events it's the guy speaking calmly and softly that are noted and listened to.
Jon what a wonderful job you did. I bet she is so happy to have it back. Nice of you to say rest in peace to her pet Louis. You worked so hard to bring back her garden. Bless your heart. Thank you for sharing.
I’ve learned so much watching these videos! How versatile the weed eater is….how horrible vines are….
❤That property is big as hell. Omg! That old man had a lot to keep up. God rest his soul.
Lol right? 😂
👏👏👏 Excellent job ❤
I wish the homeowner would come to the door or outside, so could see the look of pride in her beautiful yard. good job
Thank you Jon, I love what you have done for this lady. That is a huge yard and yes it must have a lovely place.
Thank you Jo. 😊
It breaks my heart when I see what a beautiful garden it is .I hope that the lady can get to maybe come out ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Me too! She has a ramp in the back so here’s hoping
I appreciate how careful you are around all of her beautiful trees and plants. Some of the other you tube lawn people just take a Weedwhacker and go to town, taking out beautiful foliage. I don’t understand that but thank you for being so considerate of her beautiful gardens
Beautiful job! ❤ Her and her husband made a lovely garden now. Maybe her caretaker can do a stroll through it in the early morning or late afternoon. 😊
I’m hoping so. The ramp still works without needed repairs. I took a double check at it.
Some of those patios and the statues would really pop with a pressure washer. Great job on the lawn and thanks for helping her
You are so right I totally agree.
Job well done!! All the best from Australia.😊
Hello Australia! ☺️
Such wonderful idea, she will have happy thoughts and sweet memories
Great job thank you for helping this Dear Lady, what a transformation she can enjoy looking the garden again , 👍👏👏👏🌟❤️

Formidable !
Great job thanks

Lovely yard
You do great work and I love the way you rake up after yourself! So cool😁
Loved watching you rescue that yard . What country is it??? Looks English, similar to here in New Zealand. ❤
Hi Sheryl! How cool it is to have people watch from all over the world. Thank you. I am in Oregon in the USA. My wife and I want to visit New Zealand someday, it just seems like there are so many beautiful landscapes there.
S🌟U🌟P🌟E🌟R. J🌟O🌟B. ❤❤❤
Good job mate I bet she's thrilled with what you have done xxxx
I took after videos for her and showed her and she was happy with it. 😊
Nice job.👍👏👌
What a privilege to be able to work on this fabulous backyard! The front was certainly nice but I would spend more time out here. And I love the way you thoughtfully prune the trees instead of hacking away at the branches as so e of the other vlogs do. Well done! What state are you in by the way? Curious Canadian.
Loved watching you transform this yard. Great job. Thank you. I subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for your kindness! You do a superb job on trimming the shrubbery! It would be nice if you folks would list the area of the world you are actually working in… tho, it would take some fun out of guessing by weather, accent, holidays, plants/trees, vehicles, etc.
Hi there. I don’t advertise my location due to illegal actions towards businesses like mine, theft, break windows, etc. However, I can tel you I’m in Oregon, USA.
A lot of mediation areas and what a veggies garden they could have had. But you can they trees and flowers bed were designed beautifully laid out throughout the property
Yeah I loved it
Love your work. Such an interesting garden. If only the garden could be wheelchair accessible for the lady.
Yes you can eat Prickly Pear (Barbary Fig)
The sweet and slightly tangy flavour of the fruit pairs wonderfully with citrus fruits,
chili, and mint. It can be used in salads, sorbets, or even cocktails.
When ripe, the pulp has a sweet taste that’s often described as melon- or berry-like. The skin and pulp of prickly pear fruit vary in color depending on the species. Some common colors of prickly pear fruit include white, yellow, purple, red, green, and brown.
Prickly pear is anti inflammatory and is rich in vitamin C, magnesium, and copper and provides a decent source of potassium. Also contains smaller amounts of other nutrients, such as calcium and several B vitamins.
Super job my friend! 👍
YES!!!
Thank you
PS
I like your signature outro of panning up to the beautiful skies above you while the music soars. 🙂
Thank you. I was wondering if anyone watched till the end lol.
Awesome job 💯👍👍
Thank you very much! God bless you!
Thank you 🙏 Same to you!
Good job! 😊
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤😅😅😅😅big yard to clean up , you did a fine transformation of it for the owner🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤beautiful😮😮🎉🎉🎉
Thank you Christina! You rock!
Nice!😊
What you do is amazing. The trouble is you take yards so far gone, and you can only do so much in the time you have. It would have been nice if you had the time to trim all the low hanging limbs from the trees. It blows my mind that you did all that without using a mower once.
Thank you. Yeah my hopes are that after I come through, the owner can have someone maintain it. I have my lawncare business aside from this and I maintain yards. Some are really nice and some could used more services. Thanks for watching Shawn.
❤❤❤❤❤
Great result 👍. Definitely wouldn't eat a wild cucumber, but some people mistake it for the creeping cucumber which is yum.
Interesting. I’ll have to look up the difference. Cus this definitely “creeps” as its vines are always growing.
So, did you find out who Louis was? Awesome job!
I believe she said it was her beloved cat that she and her husband had years ago. I guess that makes sense with the bells that were left there.
@@yardrescue, he must have been beloved.
Hermoso trabajo saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina felicidades 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Aguante Argentina 🇦🇷!
Thank you for taking the time to show the cucumber?
I just subbed whoop 😮let's gooooo!!!! Great job 👏 👍
