I always thought he was the most personable and likeable. All those journeys, he got along with the most amazing cross section of people in uncomfortable circumstances. Couldn't go on those journeys these days and get home alive.
Yes, it's definitely subjective. Still, I would think that I necessarily should find Cleese the funnier of the two. (Laughing) Anyway, don't mind me. I just can't figure myself out sometimes is all.
I have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like these.
Best travel shows ever! Thanks Michael for the many hours of entertainment.
Such a FAB human being is Mike Palin. I've 2 Monty Python books that he signed to me. Treasured.
I love Michael Palin's Travel Series especially Full Circle (of the Pacific Rim) from 1999
I saw John Cleese 2 weeks ago and he told this same tale at the end of his show!
Where was this show at ? And can you please tell us what else he spoke about
best travel shows ever on television.thank you bbc and michael palin.
I've always thought that Michael Palin was the funniest of all the Pythons. Even so, I can't account for why I would think that. Surely I'm wrong.
If he makes you laugh the most, then how can you be wrong? Subjective is it not?

comparisons are pointless really, but to me he's near the top of the list
Cleese, Palin, and Idle were the funniest of the lot.
What was it, a series or just a movie? I never got to watch it.
He has multiple series of travelogues
If I get the chance I'll watch them. I like travelogues in general anyway.
