I bought this little guy for my daughter so she could learn safety and shooting sports with me at my private shooting club. gun was pink, she picked it out. so i brought it to the plinking range and went through a box of cheap ammo, no issues and on sight. guy next to me was like, wtf is that? oh this is my daughters savage rascal. she picked it out. oh ok. where is your daughter? looks like you're here alone. oh..well...yeah..well she was going to come but i already had the truck loaded so i just brought this out too. hey guys, come down here, this guy has a minature pink 22 and he's shooting it!! good times. great little rifle.
Done 3 seasons with one of these little rascals on the wet west coast of Canada. The blueing still looks new. This little trainer is amazing, yall do you and what you feel is safe but I know when the day comes and the boys upgrade I will have the most trusted hunting partners of all time. It’s such a humbling experience knowing firearm safety is set with such a high stander and my boys go to the store or show and they get a opportunity to prove they pass and always get high compliments from the boomer generation. Highly recommend the savage rascal
