- We always knew that we wanted to give our kids the opportunity to pick gifts for one another and for Mom and Dad so they could experience being the "giver" and not just the receiver! This year was our FIRST YEAR taking our toddlers sibling Christmas gift shopping! It was. ROLLERCOASTER with all of the ups and downs you would expect from a toddler 😅 You can also see how we navigate saying "no" at this store as we near the end of our shopping trip, our of our littles has a hard time not shopping for themselves! ❤️

A question: Do you guys follow the block schedule each and every day, or does it depend on if it's a "normal" day or not?
You are so welcome! It’s not always easiest being with those big emotions but it definitely pays off! 💛
As for our block schedule, we definitely try for our blocks each day but it definitely depends if it’s a “normal“ day or not! For example we don’t normally have our “outings blocked“ right before bedtime 🤣🤣🤣 but it’s the only time that dad was home to go shopping with us, so it’s just a moment we can practice being flexible! Our block schedule keeps us organized and gives us momentum throughout the day but I definitely try to be realistic with different seasons of life! Another great example is it’s hard to see Christmas lights from 10:30 AM to noon 😉 Christmas is a funny time of year for this! 😅🎄
