I watch all the actions and you guys do them best for us TV viewers! All of you know a lot about the cars and being the same age as many of you I can relate well to your stories!
I love Barrett-Jackson, I wish I could physically participate! Thank you everyone! I was in the service station business for about 13 years, over the course of 22 years starting in 1968!
That was when they had full service, check your oil sir? I was 11 in 68 and still remember the off brand gas stations having price wars and they were in the low 30 cent range. My Dad has a 62 convertible Tbird. Man I wish I had that car now and gas was 30 cents.
in 1970 my dad bought a 1966 Pontiac LeMans 2d (18,000 miles) in that same purple as the thumbnail in almost mint condition for 900.00. We drove that car for years and then he sold it in 1978 with about 55,000 miles on it for I think 600.00 but it was still as straight as the one at 4:06:45 that sold for a 100K today. I am sad now :(
I should have kept all the cars I once owned. I had the ‘78 version of that T/A exactly the same but without T-tops. I never would have thought it would bring $100K.
at 3:03:45 they talk about the Pacer not getting the Rotary engine that was originally was to be installed. Can you imagine the POS it would have been? Bad enough they installed the tried and true 6.
One day I would love to go back and get all the cars I had ,69 super Bee, 69 Coronet ,71 Nova ,73 Challenger, 73 charger ,73 Monte Carlo ,73 El Camino, 74 power wagon ,and a whole bunch more 😎 come on lottery 😇
Why did you get rid of them if you like them so much? Honest question. Odds are good that you didn’t own these simultaneously. Probably sold one for the other again and again. I was born in 1982, so as a child, these were cars people simply didn’t want, while those from the 50s and older were sought after.
@@UmmYeahOk 82 that's about when I start getting on my cars and I was young 😂 and barely getting by got to do what you got to do when you got to do it, 69 super Bee haunts me every day good day to you sir
Did you do the work yourself? Because that sounds like you’re a checkbook restorer. Either you’ve paid someone to do absolutely everything to a rusted out shell, or you bought one of these off BJ. After investing $150k on something like that, you aren’t going to drive it, which is a shame. BelAirs are functional pieces of art.
@@UmmYeahOk nope we drive it everywhere. No quite a daily driver but well used. We have be accepted to the Barrett-Jackson 2022 Tour and chosen above thousands of other very qualified Classics.
What do you with such a car! Tour it around to car shows? You can't drive it day to day! I'm wondering why other people aren't making and driving a Troy Reed magnetic motor car? With all the gears heads out here! Or why someone hasn't made a self charging EV? Kids are doing it! Clearly the car companies won't make one! All they want to do is charge you an average of $55 grand for an EV. With the average person making about $30,100 dollars, this eliminates a lot of buyers!

I ❤ my restored 1967 Corvette L79 Coupe. It’s a 3 time NCRS top flight car.

@@av8rshane491 amen! Life was grand back in them thar days!👍💖
Thanks for the very nice video. I love to hear the facts about each car. The V Cross-flags on Chevy Big blocks is very cool!

Awesome show!! A lot of cool cars but that 1955 Buick Century is my favorite! It looks identical to the 1955 and 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
I hope you see your Jaguar and you British made a car the mini Cooper I would like to have the racing version oh that'd be fun ✌️
@@haroldbirge6881 lol 😂 I’m actually not British but I’m American but I do love British cars. Check out my channel and sub if you want.

Happy 50th ladies and gentlemen !!
That rambler at the beginning of the video is gorgeous I love what they did
I love the ‘72 GMC 1500 super. That was gorgeous
Rims on early Vipers were HIDEOUS!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ love them cars
Real Facts.
65k for a '76 Pacer and 50k for '69 Camaro SS ? Think I'll attend next year
That 94 SVT had 35miles and went for 40 something.. I see you there for sure because these cars are going for dirt.
Under 30K for a 1972 100% restored GMC pickup with a 454? I'm there.
Bro, I need to get a good visual of April. Greetings from the uk
Someone challenged hoovie to buy the mustang R...leads to a question ❓❓❓....
Have ANY of the commentators EVER purchased a car from the auction s?
Never heard the term gingerbread referring to trim.
I can dream. 👍
April needs tighter pants, I think.
She’s fucking gorgeous that’s for sure
Caution caution not be your response needed
I wonder if the ppl buying these are really doing it just to be seen on tv for one second
Just like "celebs" at a boxing match sitting in the first couple of rows. See and be seen !
does that dude need that whistle
why such bad spelling in the subtitles?
They’re automated! 😬
The 66 Chevy truck cannot be built for $60,000. I know I have a Chevy BelAir I have at least $150K invested.
Your getting ripped....also many cars you invest are worth less then what you'll get.

It's great you showed that 66 to love it deserved maybe a little more I got a 70 C10 two-door square box 396
