I hope soon they make a new HK Onyx Studio 8 and fix the poor battery problem and maybe a little more loudness anda bassy withouth ac mode, and more elegant aesthetics, however harman kardon have an exquisite design and sound everytime, for home are perfect

For young ppl outdoor music blasting wich is better, onyx7 or xb43? Whats the real battery time for those 2? I have xb43 wich is still having some % in the morning (going out nigh and going home morning)
I would get the XB43 but for outdoor use but I wouldn't pick either one. The reason is the XB 43 only plays at max volume for 30 minutes and it automatically decrease the volume and it does this around 5 times then once you reach 20% it will consistently tell you to charge the speaker and the Studio 7 battery is just awful 1 hour 30 minutes at max
The onyx studio 6 is waterproof the new onyx studio 7 isn’t. Onyx studio is more for clarity sound of music. If people are looking for a party speaker I’ll will go with the JBL PartyBox series 🔊. Nice Video

puhhh difficult with deep bass I can't hear the supposedly deeper bass of the Harman Studio 7 in the video... either the recording is not suitable for deep bass or sony has flattened the studio because there's more bang here.. 😱
The room has a lot of glass which increases upper bass which the Sony is great at along with mid bass however you should still hear the difference in the frequencies

it would put up a better fight but Harman never plans on putting it in a bigger battery to protect JBL sales. But there is the storm box blast that is around the same price it can't really compete with at all pass 60% volume

I know this is old . The prices of studio 8 have SKY ROCKETED… it’s hard to find them under the 499$ mrsp .. BUT I found a BNIB , studio 8 on Facebook for 140$ …. You think it’ll be good !? I had a Sony XB43 before but I left it at beach … so want sum better sounding , not necessarily louder . Thoughts !?( my xb43 lasted forever with battery but I always keep it plugged in anyway, also it would NEVER update , so max volume was even)

My xb43 sounded great , and the battery lasted sooo long whenever I didn’t have it plugged in … but honestly i didn’t see the hype behind the xb43 , for being a “bass” speaker it was veryyyy dissatisfying with bass , but quality was good . Sounded almost identical to my old Beats pill tbh which was 100$ less tho … But thanks ! No was not surprising because Sony had to compete against the Onyx Studio 7 with its bad out of the box sound. I even find that the Onyx Studio 7 sounds identical to the jbl boombox 2 and that's why I find both speakers perfect for indoor use and sony for Indoor too bass heavy and outdoor areas stronger as jblb2 and hs7, but only stronger at high volumes with dolby or poweramp to raise the treble and the bass deeper to boost.

The UE Hyperboom is all upper bass lol that's why I never got it. Well right now the only options for present deep bass is the JBL Partybox 310 the Boombox 2 struggles at the Beach but in June the Boombox 3 will be coming out and the 320 should be coming in the winter
I don't like this MegaBass also, I highly recommend taking time on the EQ for Sony. I studied a little bit just to understand the EQs 😂 but, it's worth it! 💯
Megabass with the old firmware wasn't all that good which I record in the video. But for the new firmware that's the only way I use it because the rest of my speakers have so much bass I got to have it but using a high-quality third-party EQ can still be helpful which I said in my videos

I wouldn't say that but the stock EQ could definitely be better. 3rd party EQs like the poweramp does take it to new heights but you would have to deal with 3rd party problems. But deep bass and a balanced sound you can't go wrong with the Studio 7 for indoor use

I just ordered one. Aura studio 3 ,Onyx 7 and Bose 500 were my wishlists. Chose bose for it's compact size and lcd display.

I want to address Sony Party Connect. Only the SRS-XG500 does not have Sony's battery management every other Bluetooth speaker does 😭
