I have seen her singing sometimes with her father and running away like a chittikuruvi. Budding I thought and she had bloomed. Excellent and will make her father proud. Hope she becomes as witty as her father!
She has imbibed the nuances of carnatic music from her guru but the style is her own. What a free flow of phrases in her alapanas. Diction is perfect and the melody is mesmerizing

She is very talented - at times surpass the father in terms of nuances
Though she is a good singer, she has not yet learned unlike her father how to encourage percussionists! if she wants to be at the pinnacle she should learn humility. The three great female musicians DKP, MS, MLV & even Sudha Raghunathan's great gesture, keeps them @ the high level. Apart from the first 3 greats who are no more. Sudha's main strength is her coordination with accompanying artists. I do hope Ranjani learns slowly after all she is young & her father's appreciation of everyone accompanies him will make her know this trick. Tanzania, however you are talented, humility takes you to great level not vanity.
Sivaraman V.S. You clearly have not heard the concert properly. she is one of the few artistes of her who actually acknowledge and appreciate her team.
