- In the wake of their disobedience and banishment from paradise, Adam and Eve raise two sons; Cain and Abel. As the brothers grow, one clearly favored and the other neglected, the family drifts apart. Expected to give an annual offering to atone for his sin, the reclusive Cain grows increasingly hostile when his is deemed unworthy.
That is perfect, I love the acting and the scripts
Imagine that all of us human beings are descendants of that killer.. which explains all spilled blood throughout our history.. what a shocking fact!!
Adam and Eve had a third son named Seth and more children (though unnamed) don't forget, to say we are all from Cain is a bit misleading...?
That was partly why God sent the Global Flood, because civilization was dominated by “The Way of Cain” . It had gotten so corrupt & violent to the point that God had no other choice but to start over with Noah & his Family.

God spoke directly to Cain. Not through his father. Why was this not shown? Not a very biblical rendition, I was disappointed
maybe they wanted to do it through CGI but they didn't have the skills for it so maybe they changed the story a little bit to fit their skills
@@VizualMation you're probably right. Still, all they needed to do God's part is a voiceover. There are free apps that can make it echo or reverb or make the voice deeper.

I really enjoyed this interpretation. The acting, camera work, editing, music... well done! I'd love to see more work like this, Biblical or not. It touched upon our humanity, our influences, our desires & interactions w/ others, both good & bad & the later reaping of our choices.

This story is bringing out some very deep emotions from the biblical story. I found it to be a very moving piece of art.
I understand the concern over bending or warping biblical truth. We all know that this is being done everywhere and that this sort of subversion of peoples' spirituality and religion is done in service of evil.
Modern mainstream churches have by and large complied with or even guilt tripped their members into complying with mandates, lockdowns and woke ideologies which serves a lucifarian agenda.
Not to mention that sin is basically embraced in the entertainment and art world. So I fundamentally understand the vigilance regarding deceit and am quick to call it out myself.
But I found this film to be authentic and not looking to deceive. The author is painting a vivid and personal picture. They aren't trying to convince us that they are an authority, just here to convey what the story of Cain and Abel means to them.
Experience this work for what it is and maybe let God do the judging instead.

This was wrong in so many ways. I think directors, writers or whoever should stick close to what the Bible says. Some of the comments below are true, there's no mention of favoritism amongst the sons, cain vomiting a serpent or trying to kill himself for an offering. In a sense you're adding to the scriptures what isn't true, but doing it by video. We're instructed not to add or take away.
I respect what you're saying and even think that is is arguable; but I also wonder if there is more freedom in artistic representations of scripture than you're allowing. I've made no claim that the film I've produced is historically accurate or that is a verse by verse telling of the story (that would indeed be a SHORT film, as the story takes place over only a few verses). Are we allowed to ask or suggest what the motivations may have been behind biblical characters? Must we only include scenes that are explicitly mentioned in the Bible? Is it too dangerous to make films like this altogether?
If I have "added" to scripture, I should repent. But is it "adding" to scripture to try to allude strongly to Christ who is perhaps the main character of the scriptures ("your blood is not enough..."), and to attempt to portray the fallenness of the world in ways that are biblically posit-able (the sinfulness of Adam leading to the increased sinfulness of Cain)? Again, you could be right, but methinks biblical movies would be quite boring if there was no room to fill in the gaps creatively.

There are a lot of scholars that can offer answers to that question. I don't purport to be an expert in that area. Could be that he married one of his siblings. There are probably other more complex answers as well. I don't get too hung up on that question. Maybe if I were to ever make a longer film about Cain then I'd have to put more thought into it.

But cain was angry that abel sacrifice was took by god and abel rub it in that his sacrifice was chosen by god so cain smash abel head with a stone in the temple of the head.

Cain and his father moment was top tier acting i would say, i don't understand why some say this movie is evil, i had hoped to see cain talk with god because its my favourite moment of the story, it speaks to me because i feel my soul as Cain's more than Abel so God's words shout with Great pain in me as they are true, however the moment with adam was very good!!!

Glad you enjoyed that moment between father and son. Its very complicated to find a way to convincingly portray God's voice on film. I went with something that felt believable at the time, Adam being the surrogate voice of God so that I could have Cain actually interact with another flesh and blood character.
When you're dealing with subject matter that people hold dear, it is very hard to please everyone. I told a version of the story that was meaningful to me and I'm glad some people see it similarly.
This is not according to the biblical account. Cain was naturally disobedient. He chose to do what his heart told him. Abel, on the other hand, obeyed what God required of him. This movie is a complete distortion of what the Bible says. The spirit of Cain is still prevalent in mankind.
