@@wattsinc. it’s close but I think a team with that was 3-13-1 last season with rookie coach, rookie QB is a better story. Lions been bad for 30 years they had to get better at some point

Not just Mahomes and Love...Aaron Rodgers was the first draft to sit project that ultimately became one of the best in our generation. Look at Purdy who was brought in exclusively as a last resort if franchise guy Garrapolo went down. They would have had Purdy sit and learn at the least that full year and possibly the next if not for a late season injury to Jimmy. Tbh it's sobering to look at these examples and wonder why other teams haven't taken the proven successful approach.
Meanwhile you got teams like the Bears, Broncos, Carolina, and more who keep trying to home run hit their way to immediate success via #1 picks, big name free agents and premier coaching changes. All of these attempts by each team has fallen flat 100% of the time.
Maybe there's just something to the idea of building lasting success through dedicated process and patient development over adding high dollar names just to miss the playoffs entirely lol. Detroit took the long route and all the sudden is a force for years to come. Not by drafting the top QB. Not by adding the coach with the longest resume. Not by selling its soul for overrated and overpaid free agents. Lions did it by sound draft picks, great player development and the patience it takes for lasting success.
Research flat earth. The flat earth society is nonsense, yet that is what's pushed by Obama and Google. The truth requires no defense, so why do they need to straw man the idea we don't live on a spinning ball rocketing through space with 3 different wobbles. How does a ball have 3 wobbles? Hmmmm...michio kaku says nobody in his field (theoretical physics) uses the so called scientific method. It's leaps of logic, it's guesswork!

I think the Bucs are overrated right now.. they're coming off an easy victory over a JV team from Philly... the Lions had to scratch n claw against the Rams in a tight one.. a game they could've easily lost.. wouldn't surprise me if the Lions win big ...
Exactly as I see it - not to mention all the players coming back. I do think the Bucs will keep it close, but this just kind of feels like a 5 sack, 2 Interception game.

Of course they start talking about Stafford, slinging it ( you know Goff's team won, don't you?) Media bias continues, guess you can't expect it to pivot quickly, but all pundits have gone on about the clams, bad refereeing ( against a team that has more bad calls in the history of sports, for decades) and then now talk about the Bucs ( eisen disgusts me, not giving the lions there due)

People want to root for the Lions, but Detroit fans with your attitude will make people root against them. Stay humble, junglecat boy.

I remember Mike Trico tried to downplay the Lions win @ Kansas City because Travis Klece was injured. I was so irritated and he loss alot of credibility as a analyst after dat comment.
