Already one of the best rappers in Korea at 17 after dealing one of the most brutal disses in Korean rap history to this day, while wearing her high school uniform on live television. So good as a trainee and contestant, that CUBE had her debut as one of the youngest female solo acts in Korean history at 17 with 'Jelly'. Simultaneously becoming one of the youngest female composers, writers and producers in Korean history. She did so well in her first two singles that they created a group named after her second single 'Idle song'. She then goes on to single-handedly mastermind mini-album after mini-album. Saves her group from a long-term hiatus after one of the worst injustices in K-Pop with three massive comebacks in barely 12 months.

I remember when haters were saying GIDLE will flop this comeback. Well guess what? GIDLE just achieved a RAK for Tomboy! If you don't know what that is, it means they hit #1 in ALL of Korea's major music streaming platforms. To top it off, GIDLE is the 2nd 4th gen GG to do so. Words can't explain how proud I am as a nevie. This whole era, we can feel their anger and passion in their songs bc all-if not, most of us know they've literally been through hell over the previous year and even now. Not just knevies. The korean GP as a whole! You need unique listeners to hit #1 on the Melon Top 100, so it’s not just nevies streaming but non-fans as well!! That’s what makes girl groups powerful. They tend to have more public recognition than boy groups. And if you have both public recognition AND a solid fanbase as GIDLE does, you can keep rising and experience great longevity.

It is so good, it's not a cliche, it makes sense and it's not cringy at all. what do you expect with cube? it's not them who put a lot of effort for the group's success but the credits should be mostly to soyeon and all the producing staff who put a lot of efforts and the choreographers and also to all the members of the group who always gives their best every comeback... (g)i-dle is the 4th gen group who improves every comeback although most 4th gen groups also improve but not that often as i-dle do.... i think i-dle can be like the bts of cube ent. but it's just that cube does not take the opportunity of them being bigger than they are now... they create great music but the company doesnt promote them well... honestly tomboy promotion for me is quite short and i didn't get to see the girls in some variety shows like weekly idol or after school club... i've just noticed something common about the 4th gen leader groups straykids, i-dle and the boyz... each group mentioned lost 1 member each but it didn't make the group weak but rather makes them even stronger...

When i hear Shuhua's pre chorus, i remember the time when tomboy was released and played everywhere. Tomboy is the most important in IDLE career.
