    Just reading the comments here, I have to disagree with everyone who said he was inarticulate. I think Cam'ron handled himself *very* well in this interview. Seriously, folks, every try asking other rappers like Three 6 Mafia a question? Can't be done. Kudos to Cam'ron.

    I grew up in the streets, I grew up with drug dealers, and gangsters. If a serial killer lived next to me and I knew it I would call the cops day one. It is not acceptable to allow someone who may kill your or someone elses kids/wife/husband/mother/father/sister/brother is unacceptable, and if you think it is you are a piece of shit.

  • @lloplop
    @lloplop 11 років тому +4

    the problem with "remaining silent" is that you are in a situation where your fate very much depends on arbitrary variables. The cops can charge you with with real bullshit that you then have to prove your innocence! While you wait in jail. I've come totally clean with cops and been let go with no license on parole! They took my weed and told me to get the fuck home. I'm just a dude trying work and do my best supporting my kids. Shit is hard. You feel ppl out some pigs have hearts bruh 4real

    I knew a guy who also "wouldn't snitch" after he was shot.

  • @scg13

    The people who respond to this calling him an idiot and justifying 'snitching' just don't get it.
    You were raised in a different community where different things happen and completely different type of people lived around you.
    You will never understand the reasoning behind what he's saying so therefor you have no right to criticize him on what he's saying.
    If you were so broke all you could do was sell weed to feed your family, and your next door neighbour ratted you out, how would you feel?

    I think that when there's a code of ethics to maintain a community and you don't uphold that, you honestly have no right to complain about it's current state. STop Snitchin maintains the ingnorance that keeps people quietly suffering and that's right I guess. Maybe this is why I am confused on why this is an issue in the first place. I dont agree. A quiet mouth never gets fed. Thank you individuals for helping the "team" suffer. Thank You.

    Maybe if something bad happens to them, it's a "take things into their own hands" mentality instead of a "let's contact the authorities" mentality.

    I think you need to find a people that are positive and support good morals and stop looking for people that don't care. Plus you know kids can get around their families. They don't know what their up to every second at school or at friends. It's your responsibility as a man to be a man and be positive and let what you went through change you and mature you.

    PT 3** times you see blacks or ANYONE practicing this "no snitching" thing is when a camera is in their face? has anybody seen the show "the first 24" about solving murders? or COPS, they ask some guy who is probably in eyesight of the person who commited the crime "did you see who did it?"... if he just points the guy out, and he's arrested on site, the witness is as good as dead. and its to send a message of fear. Now lets take Corporate Crime for example, If the FBI was at some office --

    If their are drug dealers around, YES I'm snitching, you are ALLOWED to be anonymous! You CAN do the RIGHT thing; you can do the GODLY thing and you have the RIGHT to not expose yourself while you're doing the right thing!
    Repeat after me; "snitching on criminals is a GOOD THING!"

  • @ThisPageStaysREAL
    @ThisPageStaysREAL 14 років тому

    PT 4** asking Joe Smith questions like "who is the one making millions illegally, costing people their homes etc", he too is probably in the office next to the criminal, but unlike in the blue collar world, the guilty party can afford both a hitman, and the best lawyers money can buy to keep him out of jail anyways. and in most cases with all of society, we have mostly become accustomed to minding our own business to bother going out of our way to deal with police over some random act we see.

    Cam grew up under the universal hood code of not being a snitch (a sacred code amongst all men and women born and raised in the streets.) Revealing any information to anyone outside of those not raised in the streets or those you know personally, is like breaking that code. (think of telling your family's secret recipe to someone outside your family.) If you can't understand that, then don't go to the hood [period]

    The guy interviewing cam'ron is a vanderbilt, one of the wealthiest families in the USA. If he has any influence in communities, whether based on respect or other means, the questions didn't sound objective. what if the journalist made sure his record sales slowed and then bribed him to give information? Is that snitching cuz I'm just saying, if he's a friend, you should get past being bitter at his success and get with the program.

    No, the reason they say hip hop is dead is because people say sh*t like stop snitching just so that they'll sell a record, later on in this interview they asked him that if his record company told him to stop making music like that would he...and he said that if his record label told him to or if it stopped selling he would stop making the type of music he's making...and if a cop shot cam'ron we all know he would snitch
