Hard disagree. As long as someone's inside, you can get more customers. This gets into a cycle where you're supposed to have closed but because someone was inside, someone else queues up, and the game keeps going endlessly. I'm not sure if it's the worst card, but it's definitely up there among my personally most hated.
@@austinglander1337 you and @Juuuunii may be right. it just felt really awful at the time! it just felt like we'd never close, and in fact we lost because we couldn't keep up with closing time.
I love Closing Time, i've never had it send all the customers at one time, they always stagger in over time like they do during the day. It's just a bunch of extra money if you get the card early. Edit: corrected immediately after i wrote the comment and continued watching lol

I got to my first overtime run. and it suddenly gave me "Picky Eaters". I was like "I'm sure I can figure out how to automate this.." (Spoiler, I could not) Triple F tier card right there.
You can auto the cheese board , just put grabbers through the tables and add 2 outputs that goes to sink no need smarter grabber and another to cheese board with smarter , i did a run with it, it's not that bad at all.
@@WalkerTxsRngr7 its just a lot more complicated but yeah. cause then you still have to sort the cheese boards away from the dirty dishes, and if you place dish down in the wrong spot it gets sent down the line, lol. Not impossible, just annoying and impractical usually.
For cheese board just use grabbers instead of smart grabbers, and filter off the plates. You don't even need to return to rack and can just run it back to automation making a new one

I think he misread the blank card guest modifiers as - instead of + None of the actual cards have positive guest modifiers in the orange icon, so it's easy to overlook the modifier's sign.
Is it even possible to get cards that straight up add a new main course? Like just "adds burgers as a main" when you're doing a pizza run? I have played about 40 hours and NEVER seen this as an option
There is a franchise card that says "bring an extra main dish" or something to that effect. I've seen that one but haven't chosen/played with it. More choices for customers are the worst imo 😆
Yeah the franchise card is called "Variety". I did it with a group of 3 players and it's honestly not as bad as you would think as long as you take enough -x%. But the the is so different with different numbers of players so it's hard to make general statements. Also in a higher tier franchise with two or more main dishes it might be nice to also choose Preparation Time as a franchise card.
definitely can be horrible, but for most of my runs, bussing is normally automated and serving is typically over counters. if serving is not over counters, then yes its horrible, but typically doesnt change anything, at least for my runs

This really changes if you change the number of players. If you have 4 players a more complex kitchen for less customers is better so all your players can be doing stuff. So soup is great. But if you're playing by yourself or with just two of you soup sucks
One thing Im confuse about is why are you saying cheese board are harder then dirty dishes to automate? Isn't it the same since it just take a grabber into a conveyor chain? you can but a filter later on to pick it up.
Haha, Burgers are easy to automate, you just need 3 grabbers, combiner and autoplater... That is not easy, that is 5 days needed to get stuff done and we only have 15 days to play. 2 days are decorations, they do not count. 1 day to get research station. 1 day to get plates, absolute must have. 1 to get extra table or counter/prep station (in most games you do need one of these). 1 to get wash speed upgrade (scrub brush or better basin). So we actually have only 8 days to automate something, 8 tries and there is no 100% chance you will find grabber / combiner / plates. Plates and conveyor must be upgraded as well, so you can't get like 3 conveyour and turn them into grabbers in a day. No, it is not easy.
Closing time is great, cause it allows you to get another customer once the day is done.

Hard agree on that, While I don't think its great as it is usually just a group or two it is severely better than any of the "Rush" cards.

Closing time sucks but is markedly better than the other two rushes. like a whole tier better.

You can't auto the bussing though.

Mashed potatoes makes 20 servings. Almost always enough for one day, but you cant just keep 1 pot in the freezer forever :(

victorian standards does effect counters if they are within 1 space
needs separate lists for single vs. multi player, tbh
honestly leisurely eating is manageable if you have affordable level 1, but it still kinda sucks
If +25% customers is F, then why is +15% S? Seems more like C/F to me. Everything else generally made sense to me.

Hey, what about this challenge - complete the run picking cards from C and F tiers only?
You can still bus single customers

Reading comments before video, but Cheese board is still extra automation to setup.
When's the sap tier list coming out?
make a tier list of items like Flower and desks and hobs etc
DUDE! Cheeseboard > ice cream by FAR YOU CANT AUTOMATE ICE CREAM
You can throw away cheese boards by the way
fresh patties is much better than the burger toppings also
