SCP Containment Breach is indie horror game that focuses on the paranormal mysteries. Think of it like an X-Files forum where you go check out spooky things, but enter at your own risk. We play as the test subject trying to escape this weird facility, facing traps and hostile enemies in this scary scary.

see problem is you arent closing the doors behind you, so the statue is just coming in, spots you from across the hallway, and just annihilates you in 0.5 seconds without ever giving you time to even know hes there, closing the doors behind you and constantly checking behind you is very important.
oh ofcource, its someting they are going to have to adress, the original SCP containment breach told you on the death screen how you died if im not mistaken.
I hope they read this and then play again

Jason.. Isn't that exactly the time when you criticize the hell out of it? What's the point in withholding your issues until it's released?
173 is definitely more aggressive in this remake. In the original you usually saw it before it saw you. Though I swear he's invisible sometimes or just spawns randomly like at 42:03 where the hell could he have possibly come from?

So the paper in the box is definitely SCP 12. It is a handwritten musical score called on Mount Golgetha. People who shine light on it or view it feel compelled to attempt to finish the score using their own blood. The blood you were seeing was you cutting yourself.
Is it possible to use the blink mechanic to stop looking at it? That was my first reaction, don't look at the thing.
It dragges you into its Chamber how would you be able to blink then?
I was gonna say it could be a different SCP as well, but I'm not sure if the one I'm thinking of is a cognitohazard. Not sure the SCP#, but it's the book that uses any nearby fluids to keep writing its story. I don't think you would *have* to cut yourself, but it will drain your blood if there's no ink nearby.

The way they don't close doors behind them makes me so tense lol i'm just waiting for the jumpscares from monsters following behind them just waiting for them to not look behind them. My poor heart.

The Intake Outtake machine is SCP 914. SCP 173 won't follow you in there for some reason. also you can put documents in there and you'll get different things.
As bad as they are at this game, it's great that they're actually getting terrified.
There's a staggering amount of the guys 'not knowing what the hell they're talking about' in this video, but it's still very enjoyable and I'd like to see more.
An actual returning and series of videos on the original game would be amazing. I'd watch the entire thing every time you upload.
Seriously, you guys need to play the first version of this game, pre-unity. That version is complete with multiple endings and a LOT of SCPs and lore. You'd love it.
I've been waiting for you guys to take on SCP! But please play the original. It is way more fleshed out in terms of plot from the get go, and has tons of lore and interactions with the SCPs. You really owe it to yourselves to let Davis shit himself playing the classic SCP experience!

It is very hard to play SCP for the first time. I would love to see you guys play it enough to figure it out. It’s a complex game, very different from what SGS has played up until now, but I know that you guys are smart enough to get at least one ending.

Some base info: Euclid is not an SCP name it's a category name (safe,euclid(kinda dangeours),keter(very dangerous)). Also you want to read up on the SCPs you encounter if you ever want to beat this game.

I really hope the Unity version gets updated to the level of completion of the original. As it stands, this one doesn't even tell you how it kills you, and every SCP that kills you just does the same game over screen.
The reason you die randomly is scp 173, you kept all the doors open so it was free to move around and could just kill you.

tsk... you silly boys. 173 is what keeps killing you unseen. You know.... "Toe boy"? You gotta close the doors behind you after you go through them. Believe it or not, the doors will slow 173 down and alert you to when he's near by. The thing needs to open the doors too to get to you. =p

The Unity version needs a lot of work. The old version was certainly more complete, and even had a couple endings. 173 also seemed to work better. In this version, it always seems to sneak up behind them to instantly kill them.

Play some more, but do a little bit of research. You are mainly being killed by the SCP whose containment area you found at the very beginning. You need to be more careful about adventuring through the levels since any place behind you it could currently be moving and it moves fast so if you let it get behind you you are going to die.
Might also be good to play the multiplayer game a bit first to get aquainted with some of the core mechanics.
Can we just have an episode where you guys read through some random SCP entries?
Blink mechanism is reslly interesting but it kind of hurts my eyes

Definitely do another! But maybe don't have a radonom map seed so that you can actually progress

The "problem" with this game is that it doesn't gamify any of the SCPs. The vast majority of dangerous SCPs can kill you with no warning, without giving any indication of their rules or limits, and no hint as to what you could have done to escape, if anything. I very much like that the game chooses being true to the lore over changing things to make a more fair and balanced game, because that in itself is true to the lore. As a lone D-Class wandering around in a containment breach involving multiple Keter SCPs, you should feel totally fucked, and have no idea what you're supposed to do to get out of it.
While watching the SGS wander around coming face-to-face with horrible shit they don't understand is fun, the experience genuinely requires some knowledge of the lore. The game isn't about surviving it, per se, it's about rounding a corner, seeing some awful shit and going "Oh hey, it's 106. Guess I'll die." Honestly, if one of the boys reads up on the lore, but the rest don't, that would be fun, because you can have three of them freaking out, and one of them hopelessly trying to shout out instructions over the freak out.

I kinda want to see Davis play Pony Containment Breach
I just don't get the horror of this one. Usually in games, the fear is partially from the anticipation of something popping out or killing you, but in this you just die suddenly without seeing what happened. It's like the most quick and painless death you can hope for.

I’d love for y’all to come back to this, but you should play the original Containment Breach, not the Unity one. The classic version has way more content, the only downside is that the graphics look far worse.
