Hello SandraH", I am surprised by your strength and the will and fighting spirit is very admirable, not always depending on second people or looking for movement facilities and that is something that inspires and is an example for many, keep it up. .💪
As a C4/C5 quad I admire your tenacity and strength. Awesome job.

Great job! You should consider having grab bars installed. You would be getting a work out while transferring in and out your tub💪🏽
Hola Sandra H.👍👍👍👸👊👊👊fuerza 😃😃😃Atte CHMD 🇨🇴 👋
Good balance
I love your grey socks.
😊👍
Hey there. Transfers in and down into look fairly easy. Have you tried using that leg lifter you got? Transfers both up and out must be somewhat of a challenge. Have you ever heard of a 'bath lift seat'? If not, look that one up, really cool device. Price ranges from reasonably low to ridiculously high.
Hi there! Not yet, I didn't use yet the leg lifter but hopefully I get time this week. It has been busy with birtday parties, halloween parties, etc. I heard and had a look for the bath lift seat but at least here is above 1200 euro....and that's a bit too much for now to buy it.
@@SandraHwheelchair Oh, I meant leg lifter for transfer with WCbathtub because of this vid. I'm sure you're going to install grab bars at some point in the future. If so, try to avoid those that use suction to stick to the surfaces, aren't reliable. 1200€ for that seat is a bit expensive, you're right. Does insurance or vouchers cover it? Insurance over here usually covers any durable medical equipment and items related to bathing and self care are mostly covered, within reason. For example, here walk-in tubs probably not covered but tub transfer benches are. Both help one with safety with bathing/showering. Anyway, just some thoughts of mine. Stay safe partying😉. Have a blessed day...
@@lj8902 oh yeah no because at the moment I am able to transfer on my own in but not out..that still needs some practice. And for getting in the leg lifter I don't think it would help here because of my spasms legs. I don't know if insurance would cover thar here...i know that they are very strict with giving money out for this. Like for example for the kitchen if you ask for financial help they do help but not entirely, only the basic and then you cannot choose what you want/like and it's a kind of loan that in the end you have to pay like 20 euro per month back. About aids for bathroom I didn't have a look yet what the possibility are. But indeed, if in the future grabbing bars in the bathroom not the one with suction...I had that for toilet and 80% would stick there but I had moments when it got loose out of nowhere.. but luckily it didn't happen anything bad to me
I have a Wheelchair Accessible Tub
Good job! I can get in but it so hard for me to get out unassisted. Do you mind sharing techniques for getting out?
Hi there! Thank you for your message! At the moment I'm not able to get out unassisted but I'm working on that to find a solution that can work. I will post a video about that the moment I nailed it.
@@SandraHwheelchairstill ur strong I struggle to get in too but u can get out bye ur self aswell
I can help you ❤️
What kind of cushion are you using on that wheelchair?
uhh just normal cushion...I had before from ROHO but I wasn't that happy with it

How do you get out unassisted ? Can you demo ?
At the moment I'm not able to get out unassisted but I'm working on that
Florzinha manda colocar mais barras de apoio e na banheira não fica mais fácil entrar com o corpo e depois puxar as pernas
Just a tip...if you had put your left leg in the tub first and left the right one out...it would provide momentum. You could actually hurt yourself the way you did it.
That's not true....i have more control when my legs are together because i do get spasms also
@@SandraHwheelchair when your legs are together, it throws the momentum of your body off. I have been on hip restrictions forever and learned this. That's what I was trying to say. Bath tubs are often slippery whether dry or wet and that can increase the fall factor.

He likes to replace the bathtub to a place that has a floor sink, this is better and safer
@@SandraHwheelchair I use google translator, there may be a translation error.. I meant why don't you dispense with a bathtub and have a sink on the floor
