G body James that car is very cool keep up the good work and thanks to you that some other part I was looking for and the tricks and the trade maybe some day I'll get my 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88 looking great again and thanks to you I saw some parts that I never knew existed in the glove box of my car until I watch your videos on UA-cam thanks again G-Body James
For the next project you should revive a 78 delta Holliday coupe that some idiot is going to part out 😉 Nice work on that delta. Looks amazing in person too.
You will probably sell the Olds. I have owned over 300 cars. I used to get one all fixed up and sell it because I had to experience more and always owned 7 or more at the same time since I was a teen. I did that back in the 1960's through the 1980's. Way too old for that now.
The exhaust tips look great. Most everybody thinks they should stick out 6 inches which is ridiculous. . So the Olds is looking great and running great. Congrats ! I just put new brake drums, rotors, flex hoses and master cylinder on my 79 Century and a long flush of coffee colored brake fluid till it ran clear. In the last 19 years I have spent almost $10,000 on maintenance and replacing old [ but still OK parts ] while driving only 22K miles. Nothing is left now to replace but the cycle begins once again where I started 19 years ago when I purchased it. Collectible Auto magazine in the AUG 2023 issue has an article on 1978-80 Century with a decent valuation given for them. The production figures they give for 1979 are dreamed up and totally bogus.
I do yes it’s a 79 I have two 4 doors and picked up a 2 door today possibly a grand am haven’t confirmed yet. I actually just built the blue 79 into a thrasher and it’s a driver now. I’d have a video on that also but having editing problems.
I've had two of these model Oldsmobiles. Both had 307s. Great cars. I had an 80 and 84.
