Awwww!! I literally just finished this game and had to come and watch the ending again. The moment Chester tells Arche he loves her and she says the same was just too damn cute for me, especially because they annoyed each other throughout the journey. But what a terrific game and story! When I finished It, Iwas at 42 hours, 1000 battles and level 88 with everyone. That's pretty hefty for a snes era RPG. Would recommend to anyone ❤️
The best plot twist in history of gaming. Dhaos intention is to save his world, upon coming to cless world dhaos mana power is so strong that attract and overrule monsters. That makes him like demon lord in the cless world. Dhaos didn’t ask for war, but the human seems to catch the intention wrong way seeing all that monster.
There's things I do not understand. If Cless, MInt, Klarth and Arche are canonical the four warriors against Past Dhaos... Who are the ones we see in the prologue? One is, of course, Morrison, but the other 3? They can't be Cless's parents and Mint's mother, that happened 100 years in the past. Second, I understand Dhaos wanted to destroy any threat from the world during the past, yeah, makes sense at all, he wanted to protect the mana of the world to send a seed to his planet. Alright. But... in the future, there was NO REASON to attack the world. Cause the tree was saved, and the mana wasn't being used for destruction anymore. But there he goes and destroy the capital. But, aside of that, is incredible this game FIT in a SNES, I'm impressed how long that game is, and how many possibilities you can do! It's very replayable, and never stops being fun! Not to mention the PS1 release that blew my mind. This game is pretty good, but some plot is forced. But, nothing to feel angry for, worth'd the 40+ hours I spent in this game.
this is honestly the best game ever graced upon earth imo but to answer your questions 1. cless and friends are the decendents or reincarnations of those 4 warriors from 100 years in the past thats why they resemble their appearences alot 2. im pretty sure dhaos didnt want magic to be used incorrectly again so he tried to destroy the future 😭😭you gotta put a stop to things you dont want happening lol. im surprised this game doesnt use the super fx chip this is honestly extremely impressive!!!
Só..the 3 Warriors on the prologue is the healer is Carol Adnade, the archer is winona Pickford And the Swordsman is Alan albane or Alvein, If i remenber well there is a LN from Tales of Phantasia about this Warriors
What i don,t undestand. Looking the Hp/tp in the prologue this is mean Alan Alvein and Carol Adnade survived in the batlle with dhaos, but in the game they Are dead
Personally I thought he was a boss. I switched out Claus for Chester, my logic being that having both Arche and Claus casting spells was slowing my battles too much. So I used Chester instead of Claus and even without any techs he was a beast. Endgame equipped with the berserker bow he was shooting three arrows at a time all hitting 1700x3 compared to Cress's single 2000 strikes at a slower speed. Also him having no TP meant I didn't have to waste items on him. I like Chester alot. If I ever okay this game in the future, I will be using Chester again.
@Zedrik Allen hands down this. The music on the gba game is so watered down its not even funny. It's disappointing to since the same composer did the music for Golden sun

Dhaos one of the best villains cause of his backstory

Good job.I finally get the chance to see the ending of this great game.THIS GAME is So underrated besides FInal Fantasy.
It’s not underrated, but because there are no english translation out there that time (snes)
T video taes me back years ago when I first played Tales of Phantasia. I cried hard during Christmas time because of its ending.
If it wasn't for this game, my favorite developer, WOLFTEAM wouldn't die because of it and Telenet's meddling.
I was expecting to hear the 1st version of credits theme to compare it with alternate version and it was skipped.
There's things I do not understand.

might be my memories playing tricks, but I think crono trigger and mario RPG are both way longer games
@@yksnimus dont forget earthbound, but super mario rpg isnt THAT long, chrono trigger is, but mario not that much

Do you think Chester is good for party members..?
I usually use klarth than chester, his summoning is more painful. Plus mint mandatory healer and arche mag attk

I did used Chester along with Suzu in the PS1 version.
"Fin" en français !! ^^
Is there a difference if you got the extra character?
@Zedrik Allen True..
I have both versions and i think the GBA Version is better.
