Brilliant. It is not easy to lose gracefully by Rishi Sunak handed over the Kier Starmer with grace and humour.
That's because they're part of the same uni party
It is theatre.
He’s a gentleman.
He would never of been in if there was an election for him too
Guy Fawkes should of had his way
Ppppppapppp@@davidbrown5411
I'll offer one single piece of praise to Sunak in my entire life. He's shown far more grace and humility in defeat than most
Yep.
Absolutely. I'm so thankful that we have no trumpian election denial, refusal to acknowledge defeat etc.
I thought we got rid of him for good yet he's back
I agree. Fair play to him handing the poisoned challis over….😂
Don't feel too bad for him. He's hopping on the first plane to California with £700 million in his account come end of the month.
Couldn't imagine Johnson or Truss doing this, so i shall give credit where it's due.
He did do the right thing here. Rare W for the little bro. 👊🏻
Johnson did..
👏👏👏
No I think any brittish ex prime minister would do this. Unlike the Americans we have some framework around proper manners and decorum.
Johnson did with Corbin but the little prick couldn't take it.
My respect for Sunak has just quadrupled, great speech.
I have always respected Rishi Sunak, he’s a statesman to the end.
Rishi Sunak is my inspiration from the way he speak and his
determination
Whatever you think of rishi, you can't deny this man has shown class and dignity
A speech with actually dignity. I don’t hate Sunak. I don’t even think he’s a bad person. Just privileged and divorced from everyday life. His ignorance is his weakness.
I totally agree with you. He's not an evil person, but the damage he wrought was the inevitable result of putting a billionaire with no concept of the lived experience of the average citizen in charge of a country.
That’s what narcissist abuse does to decent human beings! They say ‘sorry’ for everything a lot ! The common British people can’t even understand the basic difference between 2 rival countries with completely opposite faiths ! All they can see is a man of melanin and his father-in-laws hard earned money which they all think is rightfully Britain’s as he is from the ex-colonial country and so ‘common’ wealth for them !
@@tewrgh This doesn't even make sense. Define the "damage" of which you speak. When he took the reins we were struggling, his efforts have shown genuine progress and this is why he felt it possible to call an election. But as always people hear what they want to hear, see only what they want to see.
disagree in bounds. Conservatives have principles about spending and else. Austerity has always been a British conservative trademark. Let’s see liberal principles in action to bring balance and hope it makes the lives of the British people better
@@maxdamagusbroski I'm obviously talking about his contribution over the last 14 years, not just the last 2
Very clear and welcoming speech full of recognition. Well done ex. Prime minister.
He spoke well to his credit, looks like a weight has been lifted.
He had to carry the weight of past administrations mismanagement as well unfortunately but in his 20 months I think he did reasonably good job in bringing stability given where we were tbh
@@Pennywise.18 There is nothing more he could have done with maintaining sanctions on Russia which increased gas prices and inflation. If UK starts buying oil from Russia like before 70% of the problems are solved.
The best PM in the last 14 years, not his fault the previous 3 were so bad, with one been a compulsive liar. good luck to you Sir.
I have never heard any other politician speak with such grace, humility and dignity, especially after losing election with a tough task of handing over to the new PM,Rishi Sunak is such a decent human, his *Hindu upbringing* shines through being so well mannered, manners cost nothing.Recall the exit speeches made by Boris Johnson or Liz Truss ,Theresa May 🤭
Long live Hindus, long live Christians...🥳
Both the Prime Minister and the Ex-Prime Minister have been so gracious in victory and defeat. Contrast that to the US! I'm proud of our parliament.
They have indeed.
Couldn't agree more. Moments like this make me proud to be a Brit.
Exactly. Me too.

Spectator: How Labour’s Jail Strategy Could Come Unstuck
“Let’s talk cobblers. The Prime Minister has responded to the jail space crisis by ennobling the nation’s shoe mender-in-chief James Timpson and making him minister for prisons, probation and parole. This is a bold move but not one without risk. It would only take one high-profile crime committed by a prisoner on early release to plunge the strategy into crisis. Timpson has made his fortune out of the ubiquitous key cutting and watch repair outlets that sprout from many big supermarkets. He’s less well known for a passionate interest in penal affairs. He became the first household name retailer to employ carefully screened prison leavers in his shops and they have returned his trust by becoming some of his best workers. I’ve never had a bad visit to Timpsons; this says much about the business his father and he have built on can-do socially aware capitalism.”
In his mannerisms, in his grace, he is more English than many Englishmen. He truly is a morally driven, and venerable character. For all his "flaws" as people perceive them.
Rarely is becoming an ex-PM a promotion like it's with Rishi Sunak
He is a good guy
Democracy in his best. As a Portuguese living and working in England, may God bless this great country
Thank you. We were feeling like it was all going wrong. I’m hoping that the narrative will change and our immigrant population will begin to feel again valued and welcomed in this country.

🃏THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God is saving man from the imminent destruction of this old world"
"What is the Influence of Darkness?" ... (called "influence of darkness" is the influence of deception, corruption, bonding, and control of Satan on people; Satan's influence is an in that brings death. How can you escape from the influence of darkness after you have faith in God? When you pray sincerely to God, you turn your heart completely on Him, and at this point God's Spirit touches your heart. If people cannot do the words of God, if they always try to fool Him, act without zeal for Him, and do not believe in His existence--all of these people are living under influence of darkness. Man is limited in believing in God, and because he knows nothing about God, he still lives--according to the old rules, in words without fulfillment, in a life of darkness and uncertainty, without fully purified by God nor He completely owned it. All those who cannot accept God's work, or accept God's work but cannot respond to His demands, are people living under the influence of darkness. Only those who desire to obtain the truth and can respond to God's requests will receive blessings from Him, and only they will escape from the influence of darkness. Those who intentionally disruption church--life, who deliberately start strict between their brothers, or form small groups are people live in the deeper influence of darkness, in slavery to Satan. All those who cannot love God sincerely, who do not seek to achieve the truth, and do not focus on changing their dispositions are people who live under the influence of darkness.)
Almighty God said
CALLED "influence of darkness" is the INFLUENCE of DECEPTION, CORRUPTION, BONDING, and CONTROL of SATAN on PEOPLE; SATAN'S INFLUENCE is an influence that BRINGS DEATH. All who LIVE under SATAN'S COVERAGE will CERTAINLY DIE. 😪
HOW can you ESCAPE from the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS after HAVE FAITH in GOD? WHEN you PRAY SINCERELY to GOD, you TURN your HEART COMPLETELY on Him, and at this POINT GOD'S Spirit TOUCHES your HEART.
You BECOMING READY to GIVE YOURSELF COMPLETELY to Him, and at this MOMENT, you have ESCAPED from the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS. If EVERYTHING a man does is that which PLEASES GOD and CONFORMS to His REQUESTS, he is a MAN who LIVES by His WORDS of GOD and UNDER His CARE and PROTECTION.
IF people CANNOT do the WORDS of GOD, if they ALWAYS TRY to FOOL Him, ACT without ZEAL for Him, and do NOT BELIEVE in His EXISTENCE---all of these PEOPLE are LIVING UNDER INFLUENCE of DARKNESS. People WHO have NOT RECEIVED GOD'S SALVATION live UNDER the COVERAGE of SATAN; I MEAN, they ALL LIVE UNDER the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS. 😪
Those WHO do NOT BELIEVE in GOD LIVE under SATAN'S COVERAGE: EVEN those who BELIEVE in GOD'S EXISTENCE may NOT LIVE in His LIGHT, because those WHO BELIEVE in Him may NOT REALLY LIVE ACCORDING to His WORDS or SUBMIT to GOD. 😪
MAN is LIMITED in BELIEVING in GOD, and because he KNOWS NOTHING about GOD, he STILL lives ACCORDING to the OLD RULES, in WORDS without FULFILLMENT, in a LIFE of DARKNESS and UNCERTAINTY, without FULLY PURIFIED by GOD nor He COMPLETELY OWNED it. ☀️
In FACT, although it NEEDS NOT to be SAID that those WHO BELIEVE in GOD may STILL be under INFLUENCE, because they do NOT HAVE the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT. Those who have NOT RECEIVED GOD'S GRACE or MERCY and those who CANNOT SEE the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT ALL live UNDER the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS, and MOST, so are PEOPLE who ONLY ENJOY GOD'S GRACE BUT DO NOT KNOW Him. If a person believes in God but spends most of his life living under the influence of darkness, this person's existence is meaningless---and why mention people who do not believe that God exists ? 😪
Those who are NOT FREE, who are always CONTROLLED by some THING, and CANNOT GIVE THEIR HEART to GOD are PEOPLE UNDER SLAVERY to SATAN who LIVE with
DEATH. 😪
Those who are NOT FAITHFUL in their OWN DUTIES, NOT FAITHFUL to GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS, and do NOT PERFORM their DUTIES in the CHURCH are PEOPLE WHO LIVE in the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS. Those who INTENTIONALLY DISRUPTION CHURCH-LIFE, who deliberately START STRICT BETWEEN their BROTHERS, or FORM small GROUPS are PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE DEEPER INFLUENCE OF DARKNESS, in SLAVERY to SATAN. 😪
Those who have an abnormal relationship with God, who always have extravagant desires, who always want to take advantage, and who never seek to change their dispositions are people who live under the influence of darkness. Those WHO are CARELESS and NOT serious in their PRACTICE of TRUTH, and do NOT seek to FULFILL GOD'S will, but RATHER seek ONLY to SATISFY their OWN FLESH, are also PEOPLE who LIVE UNDER the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS, SHROUDED by DEATH. ☀️
Those who commit perversion and deception when working for God, who are hasty in dealing with God, who deceive God, and who always plan for themselves are people who live under the influence of darkness.
ALL those WHO CANNOT LOVE GOD SINCERELY, who do NOT SEEK to ACHIEVE the TRUTH, and do NOT FOCUS on CHANGING the5 DISPOSITIONS are PEOPLE who LIVE UNDER the INFLUENCE of DARKNESS. 🙏

Probably a combination of relief and disappointment. Knowing that it's over, but able to go back to his good life. This was extremely well done and respectful. I'd like to see more aspects like that across the entire parliament
Because he’s a few hundred million more richer since being PM. In one financial year he made 120 million, whilst millions of families made financially worse off. Understand that the economy needs to grow to give young people out of universities and colleges to get jobs. Growth requires more production. More production requires energy. The only way to feed the immediate demand for energy is oil and nuclear. Even battery powered cars require energy to charge which once again comes from nuclear and oil.
