The first two Jell-O spots from (approximately) 1956 featured Sterling Holloway doing the voiceover, and Kathryn Beaumont
reprising her character as Alice. Both Beaumont and Holloway
starred in the 1951 Disney animated classic, "Alice In Wonderland".

Yeah the voice actor ( Sterling Holloway) who is known for the voice of winne the pooh (and kaa the python or boa) was the voice actor for the Cheshire cat/ allice in wonderland /jello commercial.

It WAS Katherine Beaumont. Jello brought Her and Sterling Holloway out to New York to Redo their Roles as "Alice " and "Cheshire Cat. "
